The skies darkened as a thunderous roar echoed from the clouds. The animals rushed to seek shelter, burrowing themselves under the snowy tundra for the slightest chance at warmth.

Water began to rain down in droplets, collapsing onto anything it could grace. Snow, trees, buildings, and his palm.

Even underneath the tiled roof of the unstable wooden shack, the rain pierced through and let itself down upon him. He would gaze at it, the small and harmless tear from the sky, wondering what its story is.

Which body of water it came from, when did it ascend the clouds, and how the trip down was. Only a few of the questions he asked himself.

The Commander sighed, shaking his head and thrashing his hands, letting the droplet of water spring away. However, instead of landing on the ground, it went directly on her face.

Snow White closed her eyes in reflex, before gently fluttering them back up again. The right side of her face was now stained. She raised a hand and wiped away the liquid, removing it for good.

''Sorry.'' He mouthed. ''I didn't mean for that to happen.''

''...''

Snow White did not respond. All she did was absent-mindedly stare off into the floor she sat on, curled up into a ball and hugging her legs. The large piece of cloth she used as a robe was enough to cover her entire body.

Her weapons, alongside everybody else's, were laid out in the corner of the room, waiting to be used if they were caught by surprise.

The things that Snow White was thinking, the memories running and sprouting back up to her mind yet again. Standing on that field, facing the setting sun, while he injected her with motivation.

... His name... Isn't Avalon at all...

She knows this... That's just a title.

''Hey, Snow.''

She raised her head and met his colorful gaze.

''Thank you.''

... She slowly nodded her head.

''It means a lot to me.''
''This... Thing... Cannot be produced anymore,''
''Yet you still managed to make an exception for us.''

''I haven't given you anything.'' Snow reminded. ''It's just a location we find troubling to conquer.''
