Seina sighed in her seat with a groan, letting her head fall back dramatically. "I can't believe this," she muttered, voice echoing faintly. "Seriously, I can't. I thought maybe I'd get a shot at some kind of dramatic death, like saving you, Ann. Something noble and theatrical. Dying in front of the spotlight so everyone remembers me as the brave idiot who sacrificed herself for the team. But no. Of course not. Now it's team effort or total failure. One for all, or no one walks out. Absolutely inspiring."

Ann stood a few steps away, arms crossed.

"You do realize I don't need anyone to save me," she said, deadpan.

Seina tilted her head toward her, a crooked smile on her face. "C'mon, Ann, can't a girl dream a little? This place is perfect for a final monologue and a spotlight death scene. A missed opportunity, really." She glanced around the theater, eyeing the others who had already scattered. Some pacing the aisles, others perched on the stage or hiding behind curtains, eyes flicking with suspicion. Her gaze landed on a lone figure sitting in one of the upper balcony boxes, shrouded in shadow, too still to be unnoticed.

"But who do you think it is?" Seina asked, her voice lower now. "The one working with the Queen of Diamonds. One person. One traitor. Any theories?"

Ann didn't look at her when she replied.

"Could be you."

Seina laughed softly. "I wish," she said, leaning back again with a sigh. "But sorry. Not this time."

Ann didn't reply immediately. She was watching the others now closely. One of the players was fiddling nervously with the fringe of the curtain, another tapping their foot with increasing impatience.

No one trusted anyone. That much was clear.

"Look at them. The girl in the corner? She hasn't blinked in a full minute."

Ann's eyes swept over the room. "Great."

At exactly the one-minute mark, the lights above them flickered twice, then steadied. The countdown paused at 00:00, glowing brighter as words shimmered into view above the stage:

ACT I – "The Only Question"

The Queen walked to the stage, her hands folded in front of her like a poised executioner.

The room was silent.
Then, she spoke, only one sentence:

"What is the one thing I am thinking of?"

A beat passed.
Confused murmurs rippled through the theater.

No hint.
No riddle.
No clever wordplay.
Just silence, and the sound of the countdown beginning:
