Yoongi’s POV:

I had spent so much time convincing myself that keeping my distance from Jimin was the right thing to do. That our relationship could never be anything more than forbidden. But standing here, feeling his hand in mine, seeing the pain in his eyes and knowing it was because of me, I realized how wrong I had been.

Jimin had always been my weakness. My heart had always beat a little faster for him, and now that he was finally looking at me the way I had always hoped, I couldn’t hold back anymore.

"I’m sorry," I whispered, my voice thick with emotion. "For everything. I know I hurt you. But I’ll make it right, Jimin. I’ll never let you go again."

Jimin smiled through his tears, and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. My heart fluttered, and all I wanted to do was hold him, to never let him feel alone again.

But before I could take a step forward, our parents, who had been silently watching from the other side of the room, suddenly stood up, exchanging knowing glances.

Jimin’s Parents

Jimin’s mother looked at Yoongi’s parents, her eyes full of warmth and hope. "Well, I think it’s time we talk about the future, don’t you think?" she said with a soft chuckle.

Yoongi’s father nodded, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "It seems these two have finally figured things out, don’t you think?"

Yoongi’s mother, who had been quiet until then, spoke up, her voice filled with affection. "We’ve all been waiting for this moment, haven’t we? It’s clear that Jimin and Yoongi are meant to be together."

Jimin’s father looked at Yoongi with a proud smile. "Our son has been through a lot, and I know you’ve cared for him all this time. We couldn’t have asked for a better match for Jimin. You two belong together."

Jimin and I froze at their words. It hadn’t even crossed our minds. We had been so focused on what was happening between us that we hadn’t thought about the bigger picture—our families.
