Jin walked in with an air of quiet authority, his white shirt with the pink flower matching his children's, exuding sophistication. His every step was deliberate, and his gaze unwavering as if he owned the room. The elegance he radiated was undeniable, and the way the trio looked together was nothing short of majestic.
"Wow..." Taehyung broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper. "Hyung looks... incredible."
Yoongi nodded, his eyes narrowing slightly as he studied Jin. "He's always had that aura, but now it feels... stronger."
Hoseok added with a small laugh, "He looks like he just walked off the set of some high-budget drama. Look at everyone-they're completely captivated."
"Not just them," tae chimed in. "The way those kids look up to him... It's like they're a team. It's beautiful, really."
Jimin watched intently, his brows furrowed slightly. "He's different. He seems more... distant, but there's a weight to his presence now."
While the others shared their thoughts, Jungkook remained silent. He stood slightly apart from the group, his eyes fixed solely on Jin.
Sana stood near Jungkook and his family, quietly blending into the gathering. As Sana spoke to Jungkook, trying to keep the conversation light, she noticed his eyes weren't on her. His expression had shifted. Curious, she followed his gaze.
And then she saw him.
Jin.
Her heart skipped a beat the moment she saw him. Jin with the kids, she didn't know what to do, and panic rose in her heart.
Despite the panic rising within her, she forced herself to act like nothing was wrong. She smiled, laughed at conversations, and carried herself with the same grace she always did. But every time she caught a glimpse of Jungkook-his wide, disbelieving eyes fixed on Jin, his hands trembling at his sides-she felt her world inch closer to collapsing.
Sana's only hope was that Jin wouldn't say anything. That maybe, just maybe, he would leave before the truth slipped out.
And for the first she felt true fear.
When Jungkook's family spotted Jin across the venue, standing with the children and the people who had become his quiet sanctuary, their steps instinctively slowed. For a moment, there was a flicker of warmth-a familiar longing to greet him, to ask how he had been all these yeas?
But reality hit quickly.
They remembered the fallout between Jungkook and Jin.
So they stood still.
Mrs. Jeon gently clutched her husband's arm, her voice barely a whisper. "That's Jin, isn't it?"
Mr. Jeon nodded silently, his eyes fixed on Jin's smile. "Yes. He looks... well."
"And the children?" she asked, her brows furrowed. "They must be......."
No one answered.
Because they didn't know. None of them had dared to ask. After the breakup between Jin and Jungkook, no one from their side had reached out-not even when Jin's military enlistment surfaced, or when he left the group.
Now, watching from afar, the truth felt painfully obvious-but they weren't sure if they were even allowed to ask it.
They wanted to approach, to greet Jin, to speak to those beautiful children who looked so at ease beside him. But they also knew they had no right. Not after everything.
So they stayed where they were, hearts heavy, wondering if maybe-just maybe-the warmth they once shared with Jin could've been saved... if only things had gone differently.
