"Sana knew?" His voice was hoarse, disbelief laced in every syllable. "She met Jin and the kids? And she never told me?"
Jimin's face darkened. "Not just that, Kook. Think about it. Even though she knew how much you were suffering, how much you were searching for Jin, she still chose to keep quiet?"
Hoseok let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing his temples. "This changes everything. Jin came back to you, Jungkook. He came despite everything. And Sana... she stopped him."
Jungkook felt like the air had been sucked out of his lungs. He gripped the edge of the table, his knuckles turning white.
"I- I don't understand. Why would she do that? Why wouldn't she tell me?" His voice was breaking, emotions flooding him all at once.
Taehyung crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. "Maybe she thought she was protecting you. Maybe she thought she was protecting Jin. Or maybe... she didn't want you to reunite with him."
Jungkook shook his head furiously. "No. No, that doesn't make sense! Sana was never like that. She knew what Jin meant to me. She saw me falling apart for years!"
Namjoon sighed. "Then there's only one way to find out." He looked at Jungkook with a knowing gaze.
Yoongi's voice was firm. "You need to talk to Sana."
Jungkook swallowed hard, his heartbeat thundering in his ears. If what they were saying was true-if Sana had truly kept this from him-then she had been the final wall between him and Jin.
And he needed to know why.
Jungkook wasn't doubting Jin-not even for a second. If there was one thing in this world he was certain of, it was Jin's sincerity. But that didn't mean he could just let things go unanswered. He needed to know everything. Every single detail.
That's why he had come to Sana. Not because he believed her over Jin, but because he wanted to hear it from her mouth. He wanted to know why she had done it. Why she had knowingly stolen years of his life, why she had destroyed his chance of reuniting with Jin, and why she had chosen to betray him when he had done nothing but support her.
Jungkook stood outside Sana's room, his fists clenched as he took a deep breath. The members had wanted to come with him, but he had refused. This was something he needed to face alone.
He knocked on the door, and after a few moments, Sana opened it. She greeted him with a warm smile, as if nothing had happened, and invited him inside.
"Jungkook,Come in, sit down. Do you want something to drink?" she asked casually, her tone light.
Jungkook stepped inside, but his expression remained serious. He wasn't here for small talk.
"No, Sana. I just need to ask you something."
Sana turned to him, tilting her head. "What is it?"
Jungkook inhaled deeply before speaking. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Sana frowned. "Tell you what?"
His eyes darkened with frustration. "That Jin came to see me. That he brought my kids with him. Why did you lie to him?"
At his words, Sana's entire demeanor shifted. The casual warmth in her expression faded, replaced by visible nervousness. She swallowed hard, trying to maintain her composure, but Jungkook could see the panic in her eyes.
"Jungkook, I-" she started, her voice trembling.
"Don't." His voice was sharp. "Don't try to explain it away or twist your words. I want the truth. Just the truth."
