Sana exhaled shakily, knowing she had no way out. She had been dreading this moment for years, but deep down, she had always known Jungkook would find out one day. And now, that day had come.

With a heavy heart, she finally spoke.

"After my boyfriend left me, I was devastated. The only thing that kept me going was the child growing inside me. I had no one, Jungkook. But you... you were there for me. You took care of me when I had no one else. You supported me, protected me, and stood by my side when I had nowhere to go. And at first, I thought you were doing it just out of kindness, but over time, I realized it was because of our friendship. Because of what I did for you back then."

Jungkook's jaw clenched, but he remained silent, waiting for her to continue.

"For two years, I watched you take care of me and my child. I watched you sacrifice for us. And somewhere along the way... I started to love you." Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Jungkook's hands curled into fists. He had never seen her that way. Never given her false hope.

"But I knew," she continued, her eyes welling up with tears, "I knew you didn't feel the same way. You never saw me as more than a friend. But I... I couldn't stop my heart. I wanted you to move on. I wanted you to see me, not Jin."

Jungkook felt his breath grow heavy, sensing where this was going.

"Then, that day... I came to your house with my child. You were in a hurry. You said you had to meet someone, but you told me to wait, that you would drop me home. You went inside to freshen up. And then... the doorbell rang."

Jungkook's heart pounded in his chest.

"I opened the door... and Jin was standing there. He had come to see you, with your kids by his side."

Jungkook's eyes widened, a lump forming in his throat. "Jin was right there?" he asked, his voice barely holding together.

Sana nodded, tears slipping down her cheeks. "I panicked. I didn't know what to do. And then... I told him... that you had moved on. That you were happy. That you had built a life with me and you are going to marry me."

Jungkook's entire body froze. His breath hitched.

"You what?" His voice was dangerously low, filled with disbelief and anger.

Sana sobbed. "I didn't mean to hurt you! I just... I just didn't want to lose you! I thought if Jin came back, you would leave me. You would leave everything and run back to him. And I- I was selfish, Jungkook. I didn't want that to happen."

Jungkook's entire world shattered at that moment. He felt like he couldn't breathe. His knees felt weak.

Jin had been right there. He had come for him. With their kids.

And Sana had sent him away.

Jungkook's vision blurred with rage, his body trembling. His hands clenched into tight fists.

Without thinking, his palm connected with her cheek. The sharp sound of the slap echoed in the room.

Sana staggered back, her hand flying to her burning cheek as tears continued to fall.

"You had chance, Sana," he hissed, every word trembling with fury. "To tell me the truth. That's it. Just one moment of honesty-and you could've saved me."

She tried to crawl forward, shaking, her hands trembling as she reached out. "I was scared... I thought if Jin came back, I'd lose everything-"

"You thought about yourself!" Jungkook roared, voice echoing off the walls like thunder. "You didn't give a damn about me. About my family. You thought about the roof over your head, the fancy car, the shopping bags and status you got from being close to me. That's what mattered to you!"
