"You might have come back a man... but in my heart, you'll forever be my sweet little bun."

And Jungkook? He let himself sink again, proudly, into that embrace because no matter how much he changed, his place was always here.

Right here. In Taehyung's arms.

Jimin still stood there, frozen, eyes wide, mouth parted in shock, while the love birds remained wrapped in each other's arms, lost in a world only they knew.

But their moment was cut short when a loud bark echoed through the hallway.

Fluffy.

The tiny pup came running with excited yips, tail wagging like crazy, claws tapping against the floor as he tried to jump high enough to get Taehyung's attention.

The trio flinched, blinking as the reality snapped them back to the earth.

Jimin finally shook his head, breaking out of his frozen state, while Taehyung and Jungkook looked down, startled, then both chuckled softly.

"Oh! He also grown up," Jungkook mumbled, a fond smile tugging on his lips.

Taehyung nodded, his eyes warm. "Maybe he remember your smell... or he was about to bark at you," he said, giggling.

Jungkook laughed, crouching down just as Taehyung did beside him.

Before either of them could say anything more, Fluffy launched himself into Taehyung's arms with a happy bark.

"Oh wow, so impatient," Taehyung said, catching the excited pup and holding him close.

Jungkook grinned wide and reached over him "Hey... remember me?" he asked, gently lifting cute Fluffy from Taehyung's hold and bouncing him slightly in his arms.

Fluffy barked again, eyes flicking between Jungkook and Taehyung, tail still wagging excitedly.

"Maybe yes," Taehyung said through a laugh, watching Fluffy snuggle happily against Jungkook's chest.

But the moment of peace was interrupted again when both men looked up, and found Jimin still standing there.

Arms crossed. Eyebrows raised. Mouth twisting like he was holding back ten questions at once.

He gave them a look that clearly said: Care to explain?

Jungkook blinked, then he slowly looked at Taehyung, who avoided gaze.

"...Hyung?" Jimin finally said, pointing between the two of them and Fluffy, eyes full of confusion.

"What is going on?!"

Taehyung just smiled, pulling Fluffy back into his lap as Jungkook stood and Taehyung too with Fluffy.

"I'll explain," Taehyung said softly. "But maybe after breakfast."

Jim huffed dramatically, muttering, "You better." But deep down, even he couldn't help smiling at the sight in front of him.

**Few Moments Later~~~

In the living room, after breakfast.

"Yes, you told me," Jimin mumbled, side eyeing Jungkook with a wide smirk,

"but hyung... you didn't mention your baby is a pile of muscles."

Jungkook narrowed his eyes and shot him a sharp glare, clearly not amused by the comment.

"Ah, Jimin... don't tease him," Taehyung pouted, lightly tapping Jimin's arm before turning to Jungkook with a soft smile.

"Yeah, hyung, and you didn't mention your friend is a microraptor who's living in your house now," Jungkook replied coldly, voice low and husky, making both Taehyung and Jimin blink in confusion.

Taehyung tilted his head like a curious little kid. "Oh... maybe I forgot. But... what's a microraptor, Koo?"

Jimin also furrowed his brows, clearly just as confused.

Jungkook's serious face melted into a soft grin at Taehyung's innocent tone. He let out a small chuckle.

"Microraptor, smallest dinosaur in the world, cub." Jungkook explained while smirking at Jimin, whose jaw dropped in disbelief.

Taehyung blinked, cheeks red, then bit his lip hard to hold in his giggle.

"I'm not that short!" Jimin yelled, eyes wide in offense.

Jungkook rolled his eyes lazily. "Whatever... you just admitted you're small."

Taehyung tried hard to stay serious but ended up biting his sleeve to hide his giggles, while Jimin puffed out his cheeks in frustration.

"Just because you're extra tall doesn't mean you get to tease others!" Jimin shouted, his arms flailing a little.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow calmly. "I'm not extra tall, you're just extra small."

"You...

"Yes, I'm...

Both paused when a burst of laughter escaped Taehyung.

His fluffy cheeks turned red from laughing so hard, and even Fluffy joined in, licking Taehyung's face and wiggling in his lap.

Jungkook grinned proudly at the sound of Taehyung's laughter, his favorite melody, while Jimin sulked beside them, mumbling under his breath but secretly smiling too.

The room felt warm again. Full of life, laughter, and love, just like it was meant to be.
