"It's going to be okay Ebony." Tyler barely whispered.
I squeezed my eyes and shut and hugged him tighter. I just wanted to go to sleep and forget all of this.
"Do you two want some privacy?" I heard Adam ask.
I pulled away from Tyler quickly, feeling the cold air rush to the area where his arms had been. I looked at him and he looked back at me with the same look. We just had a moment, and I think we were both a little freaked about it.
I looked over at Bently, and my heart broke. He looked like I had just ripped his heart out and stomped on it a couple of times. Then he got a more sympathetic look. "You're crying."
"No shit." Tyler mumbled. That earned him a glare from Bently.
He walked over and put his arm around me. I would have smiled, if I hadn't been trying to stop the tears running down my face. I just moved in closer to him.
"So I got the rooms. Now we just have to figure who's rooming with who." He pulled me closer to him, as if he already had chosen me to room with. I was perfectly okay with that. Tyler, on the other hand, was not.
"You're not rooming with her." He said.
Bently scoffed. "Well neither are you. At least she probably wants to room with me."
"Why don't you ask her instead of just assuming?"
I looked at both boys. I really couldn't care less at this point. I would room with a hobo if it meant I got a bed. But these boys seemed to think it was a big deal, so I made the best choice I could. "Why don't you two room together, and I'll room with Adam."
Both of them looked over at Adam who just smiled at them. "What? Chicks love me. I can't help it."
I laughed. I really love this boy.
"Okay..." Bently said, "so Adam and Ebony are rooming together." He looked at Tyler, "which leaves me with you."
"Don't sound so excited bro." Tyler said sarcastically.
I walked over to where Adam was standing. "This isn't a bad thing is it? Them in a room together?"
He shook his head. "They should be fine. If there not, one of them will come into our room and stay."
And just like that I was praying Tyler would say anything to piss Bently off. I want him sleeping in our room. It's not like anything will happen, I mean his little brother is there. It would just be nice to have his presence around.
We walked into the lobby and Bently handed me the key card. Once we got to the rooms I pushed the door open, threw my stuff down, and jumped on the bed. Aaah, so comfy.
Adam laughed. "You do what I do."
"I'm dead tired right now. I just want to sleep."
"Me too. I hate getting up early like we did this morning. At least you slept most of the time." He said.
"You did too."
"Not as much as you. You must be a heavy sleeper because you slept through all the yelling."
"Yelling?" I sat up and looked at him.
"Yeah. Tyler and Bently." He explained.
"What were they yelling about?"
"Everything. Anytime one of them would say something, then other one would argue it. They hate each other with burning passions."
"They really shouldn't be rooming together." I said, more to myself.
"They'll get over it. Don't worry about it."
"I'm glad you have some confidence in them."
He smiled. "I just know my brothers wouldn't do anything to hurt you. That means they would never hurt each other."
"Why do you keep saying stuff like that? Bently, maybe he wouldn't. Tyler lives to humiliate and torture me. I'm pretty sure if hurting Bently meant hurting me, he would do it."
Adam shook his head. "Tyler wouldn't hurt you. He's not that big of douche."
"Never said he was." I leaned back in the pillows. They were so soft. I could fall asleep right now.
"I always thought you and him would get together."
My eyes flew open. "Why?!"
He laughed at my reaction. "I just thought it would. I really want you to get with one of my brothers though."
"Why?"
"Because I've always wanted a sister, and the way Josh talks about you, you're freaking awesome. So you being part of my family one day would be pretty sweet."
"Josh talks about me?" I asked. I should probably be worried.
"Yeah. Nothing bad, it's all cool stuff. He absolutely hates Sarah."
I laughed. "Everybody hates Sarah."
"She's not as cool as you." He said. Like I said before, I love this kid.
Just then there was a knock on the door. I got up to get it. When I opened it, I came face to face with Bently, and I mean literally face to face.
"I need to talk to you in private." He wispered. I felt his breath on my face, and I almost jumped him.
"Okay." I said breathlessly. "Should I tell Adam?"
"Adam I'm stealing Ebony!" He yelled.
"Fine, but I want her back by eleven." Adam smiled.
"I'm not making any promises." Bently said, winking at me.
I'm dreaming. I have to be. This could only happen in my dreams. He took my hand and pulled me down the hall. It's a good thing I hadn't changed into my PJ's yet. That would have been really embarrassing.
He pulled me around the corner and pushed me against the wall. "I'm going to kiss you now, so don't stop me."
He bent down and pressed his lips to mine. It was a feeling I couldn't describe. The only word that comes remotely close to it is perfect. I wrapped my arms his neck and pulled him closer. I've been waiting my whole life for this moment, and its everything I've thought it would be and more. I'm officially in love with Bently.
