"Wake up baby! Greet the day...well greet what's left of the day. You slept for 12 hours. I guess you won't be sleeping tonight. What could you do with that energy? Oh, I know!"
I threw my pillow at Tyler. "If you say what I think you're going to say, I will throw you into Ol' Faithful."
He started laughing. Ugh he's in too good of a mood for me. "Fine. I'll keep my thoughts to myself. Just as long as you know, I'm thinking them." He winked at me.
"Is there any chance Adam will trade you rooms?"
"Nope." He popped the P.
Ugh! I don't know how long we're staying here, but I have a feeling I'm going to kill Tyler before it's over. The boy has the strangest moods. He can go from overly happy, to angry, to all depressed, in a matter of minutes. Bipolar maybe?
"Are you hungry?" He asked.
My stomach growled at the thought of food. I haven't eaten anything today, and I feel almost hollow.
"Yeah." I answered.
"Well then get up and get ready. There has to be some place to eat around here."
"If there's not, you can just pig out on apples while I sit starving helplessly in the corner."
He smirked. "I would share one or two."
I slapped him on the back of the head as I passed him. "You're a saint."
He started laughing again. I ignored him and went into the bathroom. I looked like hell. I hadn't had a shower since we left the beach yesterday. Since then I had slept in the car, and all day today. I guess the shower can wait, so I ran a brush through my hair and put in a ponytail. Make up wasn't really an issue. I just needed something on my eyes. I look weird without mascara.
I opened the door and looked at Tyler. "Will you hand my make up bag please?" I smiled at him.
"You don't need make up, you look fine." He said, dragging me out of the bathroom.
"No, I want my mascara. You know how you call me baby? Well THAT is what I call baby. Now hand me the bag."
He rolled his eyes and gave me the bag. "Hurry."
I looked in the mirror and put it on my eyelashes. I feel much better now. I closed the bottle and threw the bag out the door without looking.
"OW!" Tyler yelled.
I burst into laughter. I hit my target.
"You really shouldn't hurt me intentionally. We're sharing a room. I can get revenge easily." He said, coming to stand in the doorway.
"I highly doubt you will do anything to me." I waved him off.
He raised his eyebrows. Oh shit.
"I wouldn't say that baby. You obviously don't know me all that well." He had both hands on the sink trapping me there. Too close! Too close! Too damn close! He leaned in closer. "I don't let people off the hook easily." I felt his breath on my face and shivered. "I make you nervous." He smirked. I shook my head, but he wasn't buying it. "I think I can change that answer." He moved in closer. His lips were almost touching mine. I would have pushed him away, but his hands were holding mine down. I gulped, and he smirked. "Nervous yet?"
Yes! Unfortunately, my brain won't give into Tyler that easily and I shook my head. He chuckled. "You're so stubborn." I didn't think it was possible, but he moved in closer, still not touching my lips. My hormones were going crazy. Tyler's hot! Being this close to hot guys is never good for a teenage girl's hormones. "Ebony." He whispered. The humor and amusement was gone from his voice. I knew what was coming. I couldn't do anything. I couldn't move. He had removed his hands from mine, but I couldn't push him away. I closed my eyes waiting for him to close the tiny distance.
