We had been in the car for two hours. I was very comfortable, because Adam had been nice enough to let me put my feet in his lap, so my leaning against the door. Since my legs weren't in the way, Tyler had leaned his chair back, which I didn't mind, he wasn't actually bothering me. It also gave me an arm rest. My fingers had absentmindedly started to play with his hair. You wouldn't be able to help it either if hair that soft was close to you.
"Sorry Eb." Tyler said quietly.
I looked down at him. His eyes were still closed. "For what?"
"Everything."
"Very specific." I grinned.
"Everything I never apologized for. Everything I've done today. Just giving you a hard time."
I laughed. "You shouldn't apologize for being yourself."
He smiled. "Well I am. So are you mad at me?"
"I'm always mad at you."
Bently looked at me in the mirror. "What did he do?"
"He...I didn't...What did you do?" I asked.
Tyler shrugged. "I started yelling, you started yelling. We just do that."
"That was a stupid question Bently." Adam said.
"Why did you start yelling this time?" Bently asked, being more specific.
"Good question." I said. I have no idea what we were arguing about. It's like if we don't have an argument at least every other day, there's something wrong with the universe. I guess it's partially my fault. If I had just accepted the apology then it never would have happened.
"It was stupid, and never should have happened." Tyler told Bently.
Just then Adam burst out laughing. I rolled my eyes. It wasn't because I didn't like to hear him laughing, I was extremely happy that Adam was back to his normal self, but he had done this so many times since we had left. He had called Josh earlier and had had everything explained. Turns out nothing happened between Josh and Amber at all. They just sat there and talked about Adam, which irritated Josh. A lot. Adam found it hilarious.
"Can you just see your brother sitting there..." He gasped in the middle of laughing, "talking about me for hours?!"
I giggled. His laughter is contagious. "Yes I can."
"He was so pissed!"
"I'm sure he was, but is it really that funny?"
"Yes!" He laughed. I shook my head. Crazy crazy boy.
My phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out, hoping it was Josh. I was wrong. Way, way, way wrong. It was Parker.
"The world must be ending if you're calling me." I told him. He doesn't even deserve a hello.
"No one likes a bitch." He said.
"No one likes a self centered, idiotic, playerish, man whore either."
I heard Tyler laugh. "Why is he calling you?" How did he know who it was?
"I don't know. Why are you calling me?"
"You just called me a man whore and you want me to give you answers? I am shocked you would think I would be so nice after such an insult." He pretended to cry, "that really hurt!"
"Parker! Tyler wants to know why you called." I am so not in the mood for him right now. Seriously the more I talk to him, even if he gives me no reason, I hate him more.
