[[ I'm so sorry for a late update, Amethyst04SU! Please forgive me for not making a third part, everyone. I've been running low in the creative department. I'm still open for ideas! So if you could send me any, please do so!
I'll stop my blabbering. Enjoy part 2! ]]
EDIT;[[ This chapter is really dang long. Sorry! ]]
Your shift started out boring, as you had predicted. It was an extremely dull day, with nothing but a few hipsters around. Discluding a couple in the back. But they were always here on Sundays. There were two other employees beside you and [F/N]. They were both on break right now, while your boss/friend is in her office. You were pretty tired, so it had been your body's brilliant idea to have you almost pass out.(Note the sarcasm)
The chiming of a bell wakes you, you shooting up and almost falling backwards. You quickly compose yourself, not wanting to let your new customers think you were a lousy employee. You turn, seeing the familiar faces of the Crystal Gems. You sigh in relief. " Oh, hey [Name]! Good morning! " Steven giggles, rushing up to the counter you stood behind. He places his hand on said marble counter, almost lifting himself from the ground.
" Morning to you too, Steven. Gems. " The gems followed behind Steven, at a concederably slower pace. He bounded up onto a spiny chair in front of the counter. He spins around, placing his elbows on the back of the counter. Kind of how one of those old movie gang members would.
Wait a second...
" Whadda ya reccoment, toots? " He says, tilting up his hat that came out of nowhere??? You chuckled, deciding to play along. You place a fake frown on your face. " Y'all gangsters ain't welcome round here. Betta' get ya self outta here before I call the cops. " You pout, speaking in a thick country accent. [[ Sorry if you already have an accent! ]] His eyes sparkle, seeing you play along. The gems sat in three more seats, posing in odd 'intimidating' ways.
" I see you brought the rest of your dirty ditchin' fellers. " You say, glaring playfully at the gems. " No use to that, [H/C]. We already wrecked the phone lines. Now you go nowhere to run, and no way to get help. " He gets up, standing on the chair. He shoves his face near yours.
" Whadda ya reccomend? "
Clapping was quickly heard from behind you all, you turning to see a sudden crowd gathered in the cafe. In that moment, [F/N] came out from the door. She looks around at all the exited new customers, her eyes shining with glee.

You yawn tiredly, a smile still overtaking your lovely features. [F/N] had introduced herself to the gems as your boss and friend. To be honest, she has almost never referred to you as a friend. Well, not often. So this made you grin smugly, and you made sure she saw it. Though you thought she didn't see your look, you eventually saw her eye twitch. You smile proudly, in a 'my work is here is done' kind of look.
Suddenly, Steven hugs your legs tightly. " [Name], you are really good at acting! I'll introduce you to Jamie one day, I'm sure you'll get along! " You had no idea who 'Jamie' was, but if Steven said he was nice, he was probably nice. You talk with the gems for a while, making them some food/drinks as well. You had made Earl Grey tea for Pearl (she likes tea but not eating??), Garnet a spicy drink called the 'Flaming Sun', Amethyst you just gave food, and Steven got a triple chocolate milkshake. He absoloutly loves the milkshake.
The rest of the day went by in a quick blur, with lots of laughter and smiles. It hadn't been too boring of a Sunday. But you're day wasn't over. Oh no, not at all.
The night of your adventure had just begun.
The road was silent as you drove, a few street lights flickering weakly. You were driving home from work tiredly, but happy. Steven was a sweet boy, and the gems were beyond nice. You kinda hoped that things would stay like this, involved in a world with the amazing people you knew. It was much more interesting than your life back home. Usually, you would've freaked out about you meeting real life aliens, but you couldn't when they were introduced.
They almost seem... Familiar. Not in a way you met them before, but in a way you knew they existed beforehand. Like, as if they were...
The road bumps loudly, a hole trapping your tire in the ground. You attempt to drive forward again, failing miserably as you dug yourself deeper in the pit of mud. You frown frustratedly. You slouch back in your chair, tossing your head back. You groan angrily, throwing your hands up in the air.
You get out of your car, grabbing your phone on the way. You attempt to call a tow truck, only to find out they're closed for tonight. You kick your old van angrily. The cars flash up, the engine roaring again. A spark of hope flickers in your eyes, only to fade when the van crashes again with a loud 'huff'. You groan in defeat for what seems to be the fifth time tonight.
You walk down the sidewalk, fuming. You needed to get your backup truck and a bungee cord so you could tow the van back to your house. You hated having to walk, due to the fact you had been on your feet the entire day. You kick away a pebble into a paper bag, which was then knocked behind a tree. A loud 'clang!' of metal echoes throughout the area. You look curiously to the source of the noise, walking forward.
You look at a broken piece of scrap metal, that was messily carved in an odd shape. It slightly resembled a foot?
" Stupid Crystal Clods! " You hear an annoyingly high-pitched voice cry. You yelp and jump behind a conveniently placed boulder, large enough to cover your body. It was also the shape of a horse's torso? You wouldn't ask. You peek from around the corner, your gaze landing on an oddly shaped figure. It was a feminine body, with large limbs. Possibly prosthetics? The most prominent of their features were an oddly triangluar stone embedded to her forehead.
The figure turns their head, you quickly slide behind the Boulder once more. You couldn't take a risk of them seeing you, so you'd just listen. She mumbles about something you couldn't understand. What was she saying? You lean a bit forward, your hand slipping on th rock. You hold down a cry of pain, as you examine the newly-formed gash on your right palm. You clench your fist, holding pressure on the wound to stop it's bleeding.
" Log Date 567, still stuck on this... Horrible planet. And the Crystal Clods STILL have my foot... But I'll wait. I'll get my foot back, I'll come home, and all of this will be over. Fusion experiments have been delayed in work, and have spread across different area-" Her footsteps stop suddenly. You scoot away from the right side of the boulder, where she is closest to. She looks at the drops of red substance on the rock. " There appears to be a mysterious red substance located on this sedimentary rock. I am taking into account of possible life forms in the current area. I'll do a range scan in case of which. "
Well, you're screwed. Especially if she's serious about this.
A beeping noise starts, and you take a sprint for it. A yell of shock escapes the green being, seeing a sudden flash of [H/C] [S/C] blue and a slight yellow tone. You sprint off before she can say a word.
[[ Sorry this was so late! 抖阴社区 is mean sometimes! ]]
