Unexpected [Steven Universe Reader Insert ]

Cease and Desist[Jasper x Powerful!Gem!Reader]

Theme: Romance/Sci-Fi/Adventure

Triggers/Warnings: Angst, mentions of death, mentions of depression. 

Plot: 

[Gemstone] is one of the most respected gems on Homeworld. She has worked under each diamond, including the recently defected Pink Diamond. But of course, high status comes with great stakes. She had lost many she loved and cared for in the war between Homeworld and Earth. Her greatest friends had died off quickly, leaving her alone. She was worsened by this, the information of her lover's death staying hidden until the war had ended.

No one stayed near [Gemstone] for long. They feared their death should be at her hands. They should fear the powerful and fair [Gemstone]. It'd be the wisest thing for them to do. It'd be the wisest thing they'll EVER do. 

But of course, her ruler would never cease in her work. [Gemstone] was used to train many gems, being survivors of the war or not. She was meant to use bias and technique, meant to train them that no one was righter than the Diamonds. Train them to be mindless drones. And that's exactly what she did.

Little did she know of her newest trainee. But she did know that the brute would be crying once she was done with her. She'd work her to the bone, until she was feared. Just as she was. Just as she'd ever be. 

Sneak Peak:

[Gemstone] had always been one of the stranger gems, though it was cliché. Her mysterious aura eventually lead to her current high ranking under the Diamond Authority, an important "asset" to their game. She was respected, worshipped, loved, envied, and most of all; feared. Those who looked into her eyes, claimed to see the death of all beings in a single second. Many believe she would feel lonely. But [Gemstone] loved their fear. It meant that she'd be left alone.

But of course, all good things must come to an end. She learned that in the hard way. She was forcefully dragged into a war between Homeworld and Earth, forced to play in a rigged game that could never be won. She had lost many she cared for in this war. Including the only one she'd ever love. She was broken, there was no denying to it. So very a many believed she would never be fixed...

" I assume you are Jasper? "

The striped woman stood tall, her muscular build and height giving off the aura of a killer. A smooth, toothy grin seemingly overtook her face as she looked to you. It was intriguing. 

" Correct. And you're the 'great and fearsome' [Gemstone]? " She sneered. You couldn't help but let out a chuckle. She must think she's intimidating.
