| Hiro's POV |
"Boys! Wake up! It's a big day today!"
Hiro groans and turns over in his bed, snuggling his face deeper into his pillow. He lets out a deep breath and tries to fall back under.
"Hiro," Tadashi mumbles from the other side of them room. "We've gotta. . . we've gotta. . . get up," he says before letting out a loud snore.
"Boys! Get up before your pancakes get cold!" Aunt Cass shouts even louder. Hiro finally raises his head as the smell of the breakfast floods into the room. "Boys-"
"Coming!" Hiro says tiredly, pulling himself out of bed. Tadashi stumbles to his dresser and pulls out his outfit for tonight.
Hiro runs a hand through his hair and looks up at his calendar. He smiles when he sees the date. Tadashi glances over at his brother. "Today's the big day. Nervous?"
"You should know me better than that, brother," Hiro says, grabbing his red t shirt off of the floor. He pulls it over his head. "I've got this."
"I'm glad you're confident," he replies, running a comb through his hair.
Hiro heads down the stairs, skipping a few steps. He basically skips into the kitchen and opens the refrigerator door. "Morning, Aunt Cass!"
"Morning, sweetie," she says as she flips the pancake. Hiro grabs the carton of orange juice and pours it into the glass.
Tadashi walks down the stairs soon after. He smiles as his aunt. "Morning, Tadashi," she greets.
"Morning," Tadashi says, grabbing the carton of juice from Hiro.
"Hiro, ___ called," Aunt Cass says as she piles the pancakes on a plate, "She wants you to call her back and tell her what time she should get dropped off at the showcase."
"Okay," Hiro says. He grabs the home phone off of the counter and dials your number that he memorized.
Aunt Cass smiles and looks over at Tadashi. "How cute! Oh, I can't wait until you get with her!"
"Aunt Cass!" Hiro exclaims with a horrified expression.
"Hello?" You answer on the other line.
"H-Hey, ___," Hiro says, giving his brother a death stare when he makes kiss faces. "You called?"
"Yeah," you reply. "What time should I get dropped off?"
"Around four," he answers. "Everyone is gonna look around at the inventions and get prepared and stuff, so."
"Awesome. Sounds like a plan."
"Okay," Hiro says. "I've got to eat breakfast and then get everything ready. I'll see you later," He says, nervously drumming his fingertips against the counter. "Bye!" He hangs up the phone quickly and takes his seat beside his brother. Aunt Cass stacks her pancakes and takes her seat.
"Wow," Tadashi says, laughing quietly to himself. "Hiro Hamada doesn't get nervous before presenting an invention in front of tons of people, but panics when talking to a girl."
"I wasn't panicking!" He shouts. "And I don't like her like that." He punches Tadashi's shoulder.
Aunt Cass rolls her eyes. "Boys," she warns.
"Pass the syrup," Hiro grumbles, his face turning a deep red.
