Being alone those weeks had been tougher than I expected it to be though. Tony was having more nightmares, and often refused to sleep. He never told me what the nightmares were about; he only told me that he was worried and wanted his papa.

Honestly, it just made me feel horrible. I wanted to be there for him and help him, but nothing that I did seem to help.

At home he was quieter than normal. . . yet when I called his teacher at school and asked how things were going there, she told me that he was doing perfectly fine. She told me that he was smiling, laughing and playing with his friends like he always had.

Maybe he was that way at home because of me.

I hardly left the house, only to bring Tony to school and pick him up or to make a quick stop at the supermarket. I mostly just sat at home by myself, trying to avoid all the people that would ask me if I was okay. I was avoiding social media too. All the messages from Vic's fans were just getting really overwhelming. They meant well, but I couldn't handle it.

It did make me wonder how Vic was dealing with all of that.

After not having spoken a single word to me for a few days, Tony came up to me while I sat on the couch, watching any random thing on TV.

"Mama, can we go see Holly at the cemetery?" He asked quietly.

I was a little shocked, to be honest. This was the first time that he had asked that. But if that was what he wanted, then I wasn't going to deny him that. I smiled a little and nodded, earning a smile from him in return.

We soon made our way to the cemetery and sat at Holly's grave for a little while. Tony lit a candle that stood by her headstone and mumbled a few things to his sister.

"Hey, how about we have pancakes and waffles and ice cream for dinner? How does that sound?" I asked Tony with a smile.

He turned to me and started grinning like Vic always did when he knew that he was going to get his way. He then nodded frantically and lunged his arms around my neck. "Let's go!" He exclaimed happily. And I was relieved that he reacted this way. I missed my baby boy's hugs.

I chuckled a little and hugged him back for a moment, before getting up and taking his hand. "Say bye to your sister." I quietly told him as we started walking.

Tony turned towards Holly's grave and waved at it. "Bye Holly, I love you." He said.

We left the cemetery grounds and walked down the road towards the old diner that I used to go to when I was still in college. I thought it would be fun to take Tony there and tell him about how I met Vic and how he used to go off and get us food there when no one felt like cooking.

We walked inside, making the door bell ring and reminding me of all those times I stepped foot in this place. Tony yelled something and pulled his hand out of mine, running off into the diner towards an occupied table near the window.

"Hey, Tony, don't just run off on me." I chuckled as I quickly followed him. "I'm so sorry." I then immediately apologized to whoever was sitting at the table.

"It's alright, I believe our sons are friends." A female voice said.

I frowned and looked up, not recognizing who she was. She had long black hair with blonde streaks, dark make-up and honestly she was just drop dead gorgeous.

"I'm sorry, we haven't met yet." She then said, flashing me a bright smile as she held out her hand. "I'm Alexis Biersack, Dennis's mom. But you can call me Lex or Lexus, everyone pretty much does."

I smiled and shook her hand. "Lexus, right. Hi, I'm Chelsea. . . uh, Sykes. Yeah, I'm Tony's mom." I wasn't sure why I felt so flustered, but I did. I took my hand away from hers and looked at Tony, who had already boldly sat himself down on the seat beside Dennis.
