chapter four
Jeremey:

"So you agree we're friends now, right?" I didn't answer. "I take your silence as a 'hell yeah!'"

I turned to look at her to find her face close to mine, a little too close.

"Do you know of something called personal space?"

"Do you know of something called a conversation? You never talk to me." She huffed. "But you always talk to Cristae." She mumbled the second part under her breath.

I rose my eyebrows and smirked at her, "Jealous, weirdo?"

"No." She gruffed. "Why would I be jealous? It's not like we're friends, and you don't talk to me, but you talk to the girl who's sucked of majority of the school's male population." She stated sarcastically.

"Cristae hasn't sucked off majority of the school's population." I chuckled.

"Oh, it was in a figure of speech-ish kind of way. Oh my gosh, that was so mean of me. I mean she's a pretty girl, but people talk about her, you know? But since when have I started to listen to rumours. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it that way, I was just... ugh, it's all your fault." She concluded, groaning.

"How is it my fault?"

"You talk to her more than you talk to me, and I'm your girl best friend." Best friend? "But you're more than friends with her so it makes sense if you guys are closer. Oops, my bad."

She did that a lot. First she'd bring up an issue, try to get my opinions then end up coming to an conclusion herself. Most of the times the conclusions are way off, like right now.

"She's not more than friends with me."

"She's your girlfriend?" She gasped.

"No."

"So, she's just your friend and you talk to her more than you talk to me? Wow, Jer." She slow clapped.

"It's not like that, Cristae's Cristae." Her face dropped a little.

"Oh, yeah, cool."

"But just so you know," I leaned in close to her. Damn, her hair smelt nice. "No one gets to call me 'Jer' except you Em." I pulled away, slowly. I felt her shiver slightly and her face look dazed. I smirked at her.

She snapped out of it, and whacked my arm. Damn, she hits harder than most of the guys I've fought with.

"What the hell?"

"What the hell?" She mocked.

"Have you watched Tangled?" She asked suddenly.

"What's Tangled?" She gasped, and even though it seemed over dramatic, it was a legit as hell.

"Tangled, the Disney movie?" I shook my head. "Rapunzel? Eugene Fitzherbert? Flynn?" Still no. "And at last I see the lights?" She tried. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Where do you live?" She asked.

"In my house."

"Where is your house?" I stared at her wide eyed, I never took her as one of those kind of girls. The kinds that normally talked to me, for that kind of things. Things that I don't think Em would do. I texted her my address, cause she started threatening me with my life.

The bell rang indicating the class' end. I started walking out before her and I could hear her yelling goodbye. I hid that little smile making its way up to my face. That weird psycho.
