Reader's view
Ten minutes afterwards:

"So this is the missing greenie," laughed Alby.

"Sorry, I forced Newt to show me around the place," you say almost convincing yourself that's what happened.

"Well, who wouldn't want to show you around?"said Frypan jokingly, while nudging Newt.

Alby chuckled then suddenly got very serious.
"Do you know all the rules?" he says in a calm voice.

Before you can say anything Newt butts in.
"Of course she does shuck face,what else do you think we were shucking talking about!"What? He hasn't said anything about rules.
You whisper to him very quietly " What are the rules?"

While Alby turns his back to talk to Winston, Newt replies "Basically don't hurt any other gladers, do your part and don't go into the Maze. Do you understand?"

You don't say anything else for a while because Alby says to Newt to come with him, you don't mind  much but you don't know many people yet apart from Alby, Newt, Frypan and Minho, and quite frankly, you didn't have the patience to speak to Minho again.

Frypan turns to you and nudges you in the rib.
"You must be hungry, let's go to the kitchen and I'll make you something to eat, don't worry, I won't tell Alby.

Twenty minutes later you are helping Frypan clean the dishes after eating some bacon he made for you.

"Thanks Frypan for the bacon! "you yell on the way out.

"Only the best for you (Y/N)!" you hear him shout as you're leaving.

Now, not knowing what to do, you decide to explore the Glade more and you disappear into the trees, daydreaming about the Maze and it's creatures.

This was just a short chapter because a lot of stuff is about to go down. Remember this is around after Newt has been in here about 2 years
