You strolled through the Glade with Newt by your side, like the old days. Only today, the Gladers were making spears,swords and many other weapons. Newt was extremely angry about this.

"Why is everyone making weapons? Are they even thinking this through? They are going to get bloody killed!"

"Newt, um.. how can I say this? Minho kinda took control of the Glade and now we are making just a few weapons." You murmur trying to avoid Newt's least favourite subject; Fighting.

"MINHO!" Newt bellows while pacing towards the runner.

"Newt, you're awake! You are an idiot but you are awake! " Minho replies while inspecting a spear.

"I'm an idiot! You are the one who is going to kill us all! You're planning to bloody attack! To escape through the griever hole, by fighting the grievers! "

"Well duh! The weapons aren't for decoration!"

"You are unbelievable!"

"There are forty-one if us!

"Newt," Thomas butted in "I had this vision, when I got attacked by a griever once. It was of us, when we were younger and......they put us in here to test us. They are using us like...like rats . Please, Newt, please? We have to escape, do you trust me?"

Newt considered for a moment and finally answered Thomas.

"Fine Tommy, let's gather the rest of the Gladers for a meeting."

You smile at this and when he sees you smile, Newt smiles too.
