Newt's view
The guys said that I should go but I never left her side. I stood there for two hours holding her hand but nobody saw me ,they thought I was there just because I felt responsible. That was only part of why I was there, I was there because I love her. I'm not even afraid to admit it and if she wakes up, I'll tell her.

Suddenly, her eyes shot open and her grip on my hand tightened. "Newt," she said with a grin . "Medjacks! She's awake!" I say removing my hand from hers.

"Newt, did you save me?" She asks with a weak smile. "Never mind that, the Medjacks are gonna make you feel better, okay?" "Okay," she replies before the Medjacks take her away.

Reader's view
They said you were okay to go but that you should stay with somebody in case you actually have a concussion. Newt volunteered to look after you and you certainly didn't have a problem with that.

"Newt, where are we going?" You ask him as he directs you away from the hustle and bustle of the Homestead.

"Someone where new, trust me, you will love it!" He grins.

He takes you to a area of trees you haven't explored.

"Right through here," he says taking you by the hand.

"Close your eyes,"he instructs you.
"I am not closing my eyes, what if I walk into a tree! I might already have a concussion, never mind more injuries because I tripped on a root!" You sass back at him, crossing your arms to show your seriousness.

Newt looked surprised at your remark but he keep insisting that he would make sure that you wouldn't bump into anything. Finally, you caved in and closed your eyes, only to be shocked seconds later when Newt took your hand in his and began to lead you forward.

After a short walk he says "You can open your eyes now."

You open your eyes to see a orchard of Apple trees. You couldn't help but gasp at the sight of the large number of crimson apples hanging from the trees like red dots on a green page. The light reflected off them and this made the scene even more magical.

"Don't tell anyone about this place. Only me and Frypan know about this place. If others knew, they'd eat them all the time," Newt states.

"Don't worry," You start." I won't tell a soul, I'd be afraid they would do something that would ruin this area. It's beautiful, Newt, thank you for bringing me here."

"It was my pleasure, (Y/ N)." He laughed, only to murmur something a few seconds later which sounded suspiciously like
"These trees are nowhere as beautiful as you."

After eating some apples,you finally blurt out what you have been wanting to say.

"Did you save me?" You ask him in curiosity.
                 
He stops and turns to you, now there is just inches from your lips and yours. He looks you straight in the eye and puts his hand on your left cheek.

"I saw you there, trying desperately to get away from Wallace and...I just had to save you, I realised at that moment how much I cared about you and I never want to see you in pain or distress ever again." He smiles weakly.

"My hero," You smile looking into his eyes.

Newt leans forward and puts his hands on the sides of your face. Suddenly, he leans in and kisses you, the kiss full of longing and passion. You close your eyes and enjoy the moment, the blissful moment distracting you from the world around you.
