Eve's POV
I make my way back to the inn at a reasonable pace, though it was still early as I had already ventured the safe part of the city, where I met the boy was the edge of the war zone and the safe zone. Now that I'm contemplating about our meeting, the boy had armour and was carrying several weapons, was he also a traveller? My mind wonders about him while I make sure that I'm not going to hit anything infront of me.I realise that'd made my way back to the inn so I stop thinking about the weird smiling boy and head inside. I briskly glide past each room until I found a room with it's lights on, so I head on inside, but when I went inside all I saw was a body lying on the ground.
Dead? I thought to myself. I kneel down and turned the corpse looking figure over.
Elesis...
Elesis, it was Elesis on the floor, images me think of reasons why she would be on the floor in the first place, maybe she fell off the bed, but knew that wasn't the case as I saw her hands were covering her eyes, the liquid developing in her eyes, pouring out on to the wooden floor. I got closer to her and eventually I was lying on the floor beside her, nose to nose.
"Add..." I hear her mutter, her hands now drooping beside her, her eyes were closed yet the liquid still poured out from them.
How does she feel right now? I ask myself, seeing this scene felt somewhat nostalgic, I remember warm liquid pouting from my eyes not so long ago, I remember, Add was there.
I feel a punch of warmth hit my chest, realising it was the feeling I felt when I had liquid falling from my eyes, except liquid isn't falling from my eyes. I keep staring at Elesis, wondering if she felt the same way as I am, and if so, what is this warmth called?
After a few minutes of staring at Elesis I decide to get up.
"Eve?" I hear Elesis whisper.
I look back to see Elesis's eyes, open, looking at me. I simply look back."Eve!" Elesis says once again, this time more loud and sudden.
Elesis jumps in and throws herself at me."Add, where's Add" she briskly says, now clutching my shoulders.
When she said Add's name my chest suddenly got warm.I shake my head.
"Darn it..." Elesis averted her eyesight and flomps down into the bed.
"He's looking for you, you know..." She says, her hand once again covering her eyes.
Why? Why would he be looking for me?
Images flip through my mind of a small Add, clutching his head in his hands. Mum... Mum... Were the words he uttered. The liquid falling from his eyes, I wonder if he also felt a tight feeling in the chest area.
I head over to Elesis and stretch out my hand to her head, I start rubbing her hair.
"Oi, E- Eve, what are you doing?" Elesis uttered as she took her hands away from her eyes. I simply ignore her words and continue rubbing her hair.
We stayed like this for a few awkwardly long moments. I then retract my hand as I realise I had made Elesis's hair into somewhat of s bird's nest, my lip trembles at the sight. Elesis stared at me, almost blank, she just stared. One thing I realised was that Elesis no longer had liquid flowing from her eyes, my heart fluttered as I realised. I get up and head to the door. Just before I got out the door I stop and turn to Elesis.
"... Bye then, I got some business to attend to" I say after hesitating for a short period of time.
I wave my hand in the air frantically, trying to imitate the amusing posture of the boy with the two shooters.
