HANNA'S P.O.V
Though I wasn't sure of Luke's intention, well okay, I tried to make him happy by saying yes for this show.
The venue was tight. They packed the whole Tampa population at this mall park with medium-sized stage. Pretty neat. Girls with their posters were waiting in the rain since probably morning. I felt bad. We just arrived two minutes ago and Luke already pulled me to the dressing room. I wish I could bring those girls in my pocket so that they could meet the idols.
"Lukey!" One tall brown-haired guy fistbumped him.
"Eeey! How you all doing? Good with the prep?" Luke asked.
"Yeah yeah. Just chilling. Crazy amount of fans out there. You had any trouble sneaking in with the guard?" The guy replied.
"Not at all. James set it." Luke grabbed James' shoulders, the road manager he introduced to me earlier. "Oh all, meet Hanna. She's my best friend and neighbor and everything in between."
"Hahaha. Hi Hanna, very nice to meet you." A dirty blonde-haired guy waved from the distance.
"Hello." I nodded.
"That's my brother Connor and I'm Riley." The guy who's been talking to Luke added.
"Cool. Thanks for having us here." I smiled nicely.
"Hey where's Toby? Oh there you go." Luke saw somebody open the door and yes Toby walked in.
"Whoa didn't see you coming!" Another bro-handshake moment. "Hi Hanna."
"Hi." I simply nodded.
Pretty much that's what happened backstage. James and the crew were busy checking all equipment and the merch set, while the guys were with me and Luke in this room, hanging around before it's time they hit the stage.
First fifteen minutes impression; they're all nice. Luke's right. Connor and Riley were just as amazing as Toby. They played guitars around me. Luke and Connor even jammed some songs because Luke's also been playing music himself with our school friends. Riley entered and left the room every five minutes because James needed him outside. Toby? Strongly played his stare game at me.
"Do you like to come to shows like this?" Toby saw me on my phone all the times so he started a talk.
"Not much. The first and only show I ever came to was Luke and his friends'...in his garage." I smirked.
"Haha. Well, glad we can be your first."
"Thanks for inviting me. I saw lot of fans out there line up waiting by the front door. That's amazing. Didn't realize Luke has a celebrity friend."
"The fans are indeed amazing. And hey, we're friends too. So technically you do have celebrity friend now." He gave that cocky smile but burst out laughed the next second. "I'm happy you're here."
"Yeah me too. Music concert is a whole lot different thing from here." I looked around.
I spotted Luke's glare from the corner of his eyes. He checked on me. Pretty much every two minutes. He acted a bit different too since we got here. Luke's always the one who cheers the room up. But sometimes when he's nervous or anxious, his laugh will be too loud and annoyingly weird as his eyes scan the room. That's what happened.
"Guys, buckle up." James opened the door only to say that and left again.
"Okay!" Connor took his guitar.
"Let's do Tampa nice and warm." Riley smirked to the band members.
"I'll be back soon." Toby held my hand. "And I'd like to see you still when I come back."
