I am meeting up with Edward today. He told me there was something important that Alice saw in one of her visions. I was a bit nervous, but I was ready. It had only been 2 hours since I was attacked by that physco vampire named James.

Jacob refused for me to go, but I insisted. Instead of me going alone, Jacob was going with me. Leah was driving us no matter how much she didn't want to. It was Sam's orders and she has to follow because Sam is the alpha of the pack. There is no disobeying the alpha.

We pull into the woods where the Cullen residence is. There I see Bella's car. Why is she at the Cullen's? She isn't supposed to be here. Not at all. She doesn't know about the Cullen's.

I thank Leah, but she just ignores me. I take that as my cue to get out. I close the back door shut and run up the steps of the Cullen house. Jacob is right behind me, being my shawdow. I love that Jake is so overprotective of me. It makes me like him even more. I think my liking for Jacob is turning into something deeper.

Before I even knock on the door, it is opened by Rosalie. She drags me inside and hisses at Jacob. She narrows her eyes. "Did you really have to bring the dog along?" She asks. She seriously hates Jacob. It is okay though. Jacob hates her too. "Sorry" I whisper. She smiles and nods at me.

Rosalie loves me , but hates Bella for some reason. I don't know why. Who could hate Bella? She's too awkward to be hated. There's nothing Bella could possibly do to make someone hate her. I have no clue why Rose does though. She's never given me a real explanation in the 3 months that we've grown closer.

Rose leads both Jacob and I to the living room where the Cullen family and an unfamiliar vampire are. Bella is sitting right next to Edward with a worried look on her face. When we make eye contact, she lets a dramatic breath out and sprints towards me. "Youre OK" was all she says before wrapping me in a hug. "She knows?" I ask no one in general. Rosalie nods, rolling her eyes.

"Please, we need to talk" Carlisle says. He seems a bit impatient and knowing him, that is not a good sign. Dr.Cullen is never impatient.

Jake and I take a seat next to Edward and Bella. Carlisle greets Jacob. Jacob keeps a disgusted face. He isn't lying when he said he really hated vampires. Or 'bloodsuckers' as he calls them.

"I had a vision that James was after you, Avery. He will stop at nothing for your blood. I don't know why exactly, but he's going to be at your house tonight at exactly 8:15pm. We have to find a way to keep your sister out the house" Alice explains. I let out a gasp.

"No. No. Not my sister. She needs to be safe. She's the only family I got" I say, worried. I get up, pacing back and forth.

"My name is Laurent. James is apart of my clan. I only came here to warn you. I know James well. He will stop at nothing until this young lady is dead. Especially now that he knows she is a lady of the supernatural. I am gone now" the vampire explains. He flashes me his red eyes that are filled with sympathy before running out.

"We have to get you away from Forks until we can kill him. He is a tracker and , like we said, will stop at nothing. Avery, you are our only human friend and we will protect you" Edward tells me. I nod.

"That's not you're job. Not only is she my girlfriend, but the pack is here to protect the humans of Forks" Jacob protests. "Please, Jake. Just let them have this. We don't want you getting hurt" Bella speaks.

And so it starts.
