The Throne ? Book Two

Antonia's POV

I wake up and get dressed for the day in dark blue jeans and a long sleeved purple top, then as soon as I exit my room I am greeted by Hannah and Alicia who pull me back into my room.

"Hey!" I exclaim in surprise "What are you doing?"

"You promised us details." Hannah states with Alicia nodding her head in agreement. I roll my eyes

"Fine." I tell them about what happened with Donovan, and both of them become very angry.

"Oh no he didn't! He tried to get you to go out with him? That arrogant pig!" Alicia shouts angrily

"Nobody messes with our best friend! We will teach him a lesson, for sure!" Hannah adds.

"Already taken care of ladies." A male voice says from my doorway.

"Henry, what do you mean by that?" I ask. Henry is one of my friends, he's one of my Dark Warriors. He's also Hannah's twin, and they are the same height, he has platinum blonde hair, and blue-grey eyes like Hannah. He evilly grins

"Saber asked me to tell you that he is going to deal with Donovan and that today you should relax, but also King Marcus and Queen Regina are coming today."

"Oh no, I totally forgot about that!" I wail "I need to get ready!" I frantically run into my bathroom to shower as I hear Alicia and Hannah push Henry out of my room.

After my shower, I put on the outfit that the girls laid out for me on my bed. It's a black and dark green plaid skirt with black leggings and a dark green blouse. Hannah puts my hair up in a simple bun and Alicia puts eyeliner and black eyeshadow on my eyes with red lipstick.

I walk downstairs to go into my office and start doing work for the kingdom. I work on solutions for any problem that comes my way, and I just finish a few long hours after I started when I hear a knock on my office door.

They must be here.

Slowly and nervously, I walk over to the door to see Henry there again. He's usually stationed at the door of the castle to be a messenger, since he had super speed. He slightly bows to me, and says with an encouraging smile

"The King and Queen of Gato Reino are here your majesty." I let out a shaky and nervous breath, and Henry pulls me into a quick, comforting hug. "You'll be fine. You're a great queen." He whispers.

"Thanks." I murmur back, then we step away. I straighten my clothes and pat down my hair, then stride along with Henry. "Where are they waiting?" I ask.

"In the guest lounge." He answers. I smile at him

"Thank you." In the front of the castle, there is a lounge where any guests for me can sit and wait until I arrive, then we talk there or move to a better place for business if it's required. I haven't had any guests so far to actually use the guest lounge, but I'm sure that as my life as a queen continues, I'll have more guests that come to see me.

We quickly arrive, but I stop in the front room of the castle that has hallways branching off of it to different places.

"Henry, find Saber and tell him to head to the guest lounge immediately." I command. He nods and zips off in a blur as I walk down the hall to the lounge, and confidently walk into the room.

I see a man with blonde hair and vibrant blue eyes sitting next to a woman with brown wavy hair and blue-green eyes, much like my own. They clutch each other's hands and look nervous. This must be the Cat King and Queen, but why are they so nervous?
