Barry had been trying to find a way to open the breach again. After telling Dr. Wells about his plan, the former declared it was a terrible plan.
"Think about what could happen if you failed! Zoom could come back here, and kill everyone that you care about! Snow, Ramon, Iris, Joe, Rory! You can't risk their lives just because you want revenge!"
"I'm faster than ever! I'm faster than the Reverse-Flash, and he was faster than Zoom. I can do it!"
Wells sighed, agitated. "Barry, if I help you do this, you better be damn certain that you beat him."
Barry nods furiously.
"Plus, I could always help. You know, I'm a speedster, too." I said, waving my arm.
Barry shoots me a look. "I can do this myself. You could get hurt."
"Regenerative healing...?" I reminded him.
He gave me a very firm, "No."
"Cisco can open the breach again." Wells said, after taking a deep breath.
"Cisco can do what now?" The man in question said, pointing to himself.
"Reverb could do it. He's your counterpart. You have the same abilities. If anyone on this Earth can do it, you can." Wells explained.
Cisco shook his head. "Barry, if he beats you, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself for being the one that got you to Earth-2."
"Cisco, please."
After a while of asking, Cisco finally agreed to try.
They decided to go to the strongest breach, which basically means the one that was closest to Earth-2. We would up at an old orphanage.
Cisco began doing his Vibing thing. The breach would open a little bit, and then sputter out.
"I'm sorry, Barry. I can't. I can't do it, I'm not Reverb. Quit asking me to be." He said, walking off after what seemed like the 10,000th time.
Barry ran after him, leaving me in the Orphanage.
Seeing this place where parent-less kids lived broke my heart. But at least they had a roof over there head and an adult to provide for them. I thought back to when my sister and I became orphans. Maybe that was why Emberlynn was so unforgiving. Why she had evil in her heart.
While I had Richard and Barbara to instill good morals in me, Emberlynn was alone while I was out being a vigilante. I sighed. It was my fault, no matter what Barry or anyone else said.
I left the room, running into Barry who had a reluctant Cisco in tow.
"Hey, where are you going?" He asked, touching my arm lightly.
"Home, I just need some down time. Call or text me when you get the breach open, I'll be here faster than you can say 'Flicker'." I said, lightheartedly.
I knew that if I seemed upset, Barry would come with me, and I just wanted some peace and quiet.
I was sitting on my couch when I felt another whoosh of air.
"Did Cisco get the breach open?" I asked absentmindedly, watching the TV screen intently.
"You could say that."
Before I could register the voice or do anything, there was a bag over my head, and I was quickly knocked unconscious with super-speed.
"Goodnight, sister."
