Toby heard rustling and a low murmur of voices, slowly rising in volume, as the words got more angry and violent. He tried opening his eyes, but couldn't. He made a mental run through his body. He felt no pain, but he seemed to be restrained by some sort of rope, binding his wrists and ankles to whatever he was laying on. He started to strain against them, not paying any attention to the substance that dripped off his wrists and feet, from an unknown source. He heard the voices again, closer this time, and felt hands on his arms and legs, forcing him down. He writhed under the presser, trying to regain control. A scream tore itself from low in his throat. Suddenly the hands released him. Shocked at the sudden withdrawal, he fell still. He felt a presence, different from the ones he originally felt. He forced his eyes apart, blinking in the harsh light. A gasp escaped his throat. He was strapped to a gurney in the middle of a hospital-like white room, with an array of strangers surrounding him.

There was a tall man wearing a bloodstained white hoodie, with long black hair, pale blue eyes, and most shockingly; his mouth was sliced on each side to form a gruesome, bloody smile, literally ear-to-ear. Next there was a man with grey skin, a dark grey hoodie, and a dark blue expressionless mask with black tar-like substance dripping from the eyeholes. Behind the masked man was a shorter man wearing another mask, this time white, with small, pinched facial features painted on in black, with a faded tan coloured coat, zipped up to his chin. Standing right beside him was a very tall, menacing man, with a striking yellow hoodie, and had a black hood over his face, with red eyes and downturned mouth shape sewn into it. These figures alone were frightening, but it was the thing behind them that terrified Toby the most. It loomed over everyone, standing only a foot below the high ceiling level. It was dressed in a black tuxedo suit, complete with a red tie. It did not have a face. That is, it didn't have any facial features; no mouth, nose, eyes, nothing. The way the other "people" acted, it was clear that this monster was in charge. And then it spoke.

"Hello Toby."

Toby whimpered, twitched, and tried to shrink away from the monster. It only came closer, seeming to glide across the room, until it filled Toby's vision completely.

"Do not be afraid Toby, you are home now..."
