Toby found himself in the company of the mysterious Masky again, who had come to collect him for dinner. Toby was slightly bewildered. He wondered if maybe he had the wrong idea about these strange people, if they sat down and had meals together, almost like a big family or something. Masky led Toby down to the dining room, where there was a large table with many chairs, and what looked like a banquet spread across the length of the table. There were already a few people gathered around the setting. Toby kept behind Masky as he led him to a spare seat, pulling it out for him. Toby hesitated, then took the seat Masky offered him. The doors to the side of the room opened and a few more people swarmed through, fighting over the best seats. Masky took the seat next to Toby, with "Hoodie" silently taking the one on the other side of Masky. The noise and overall creepiness was getting a bit too much for Toby, and he was about to get up to leave when the faceless Slenderman walked into the room.

"Silence please, we have a guest!" he boomed. "Now, this is Toby, and he will be staying here from now on. He is to be my new Proxy with Masky and Hoodie, so please treat him well." Slenderman looked at Toby. "I will let everyone introduce themselves, and then after dinner, Masky will show you to my office, where I shall enlighten you on your new job."

With that, Slenderman left the room. Toby found eight strange faces, not including Masky and Hoodie, staring at him with what could only be described as predatory looks. Masky shook his head and began introducing them to the shaking Toby.

"This is Jeff The Killer, or Jeffery Woods," he said, pointing at the man with the cut Chelsea smile and dark rings around his eyes. His long black hair swung forward as he glared at Masky.

"Don't call me Jeffery!" he snapped. He gave Toby a smirk. "My name is Jeff, and if you call me Jeffery I will stab you." He ran a finger along the edge of his sharp knife. Toby shivered and shrunk back a little. A small girl, maybe 7 or 8 years old, ran over to Toby and looked up at him with bright green eyes. Toby smiled slightly. She couldn't be a monster could she? She was wearing a faded, bloodstained pink dress, and her hair was brown, and fell around her waist. Blood tracks ran down her face. She held a small brown teddy bear in her arms. The little girl blinked up at him.

"Hi Toby!" she sang, " my name's Sally! Will you be my friend?" She looked at him, dimples forming as she grinned. Toby smiled at her.

" O-Of course Sally! Its n-nice to meet you!" Sally grinned and skipped back.

Jeff shouldered the boy with the blue mask forward. The Black dripping eye sockets seemed to stare right through Toby.

" Hey, I'm Eyeless Jack, but you can just call me Jack if you want," he said, sticking his hand out for Toby to shake. Toby smiled and shook it warily. A short young boy, maybe around 12 years old, sat in the seat next to Jeff. Toby blinked. The boy was dressed in green, complete with the points of elf ears sticking out from his blonde hair. His pupils were red, with black where the whites should have been. The image of the boy tugged something at Toby's missing memory. Link. Majora's Mask. That's it. The boy was the spitting image of the character Link from the video game The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

" I'm Ben Drowned," the Link boy said. "Do you like video games?"

Toby nodded shyly. Ben grinned.

A tall man in a black and white clown costume loomed over Toby. He was the tallest in the room by far, and he had a small stripy cone shaped nose. His shoulders were covered in feathers, and his hands ended in sharp claws. In one of his clawed hands, he held out a small, brightly coloured candy. He smiled at Toby, showing very sharp teeth.
