Slenderman made Sally, Lazari, Ben and Lost Silver, as the youngest residents, go down to the reinforced basement. Masky gently laid Toby on the couch and sent Hoodie to get the Fist Aid equipment. As he waited for his partner to come back with the First Aid, he got a blanket from the stairway cupboard and spread it over Toby's quivering body. Slenderman walked over to the helpless boy. He tilted his head to one side, and stroked Toby's forehead with the back of a pale, thin hand. Masky watched in amazement as colour returned to the small boy's face, and his breathing became regular. He stepped forward as Toby stirred, eyes fluttering and shoulders twitching. Toby opened his eyes and blinked. Masky gave a shout, throwing his arms around Toby. Toby gave a laugh, patting the older boy's back. Masky stepped back, looking at Slenderman with praise. Hoodie returned, placing the medical kit on the kitchen bench. He ruffled his hand in Toby's wild hair affectionately. Toby slowly got to his feet, taking a hesitant step towards his hatchets that lay on the nearby table. By the end of the short walk, he was feeling stronger and energized. Hoodie stop him as he tried to join the rest of the household as they rushed around collecting weapons. Toby looked at Hoodie quizzically, as the man shook his head.

"Toby, your still injured," he reminded the boy. Toby looked down at himself, taking in the extent of his wounds, and nodded. After the older Proxy finished bandaging Toby's wounds, Toby found himself in a rush of movement. Jeff managed to grab Toby's arm and yank him back against the wall, just as Jane ploughed through with her arms full of sharp objects. Toby stuttered out a thanks to Jeff, who gave him a pat on the shoulder, and moved out to the window.

Toby placed a hand on his hatchets as a huge tremor shook through the house. Everyone rushed to the windows as the swarm of shadows retreated. Amongst them, standing just at the outskirts of the clearing, Toby's father stood, staring directly at Toby. Toby shuddered and backed away from the window, only to run straight into his father, who materialized behind him. Toby gave a yell, attracting the attention of everyone in the room. Toby's father gave a smirk, hooking his arm around Toby's neck, putting him in a choker hold. His father faced the people around him, looking each person dead in the eye. He opened his mouth to utter a threatening message, but at that moment, Clockwork came flying toward his back, knives in hand. She yelled out a scream of anger as the knives sunk into Toby's father's back. He gave a gurgling gasp od shock, looking down at the rapidly spreading blood, releasing Toby, who ran to Masky and Hoodie. They all watched as Toby's father slowly collapsed to the floor in a pool of blood. Toby looked at Clockwork, who gave him a shy smile.

After the body was dealt with, and the mess was cleaned up, everyone found themselves seated in the living room, relaxing after all of the stress. Toby was surprised to find Clockwork falling asleep, curled up in his lap. He twitched slightly, and smiled. Everything was finally over, and everyone was safe, alive and happy. He couldn't wait to begin his life over again, happy with his friends. Masky and Hoodie looked over at him and nodded, glad that he was finally happy. He had finally found where he belonged...With the killers.
