We walked up the stairs in the apartment in Burbank. My hands twitched, as we walked.
"Can you control yourself?" Stephanie asked, as we walked. "Not to attack him."
"I won't hurt him." I say, stopping at the door on the fourth floor.
With a sigh, I knock on the door. I hear a dog freaking out. I forgot they had a dog... Rylo.
After a minute or two, the door opened, and I saw someone pull the pup away from the door.. It's Nate.
"Matthew? Stephanie? What's up?" He asked, holding the collar of his dog.
"Uh.." Steph started silently. "I know this is sudden, and really unexpected, but our house burned down." She said to him.
I saw the expression in his dark brown eyes change. I then saw Brett peek around the corner listening in on this. Morgan walked past Brett, not even acknowledging I was here with Steph.
"I'm sorry." He said. "That's a shame."
He was silent again, when Morgan walked up to him.
"What's going on, Nate?" She asked.
"They're house caught on fire. Like tonight." He said.
"Aw, that sucks. They need a place to stay, don't they?" She asked.
"Mhm."
"They can stay here. We have room."
Nate looked at her, then back to us. He pulled his dog out of way, letting us in. "You two are welcome to stay here." He said to us.
"Thank you." Steph sighed, relived.
"I promise we'll get out of your space as quick as possible." She said to them.
"Don't worry about it." Morgan said to us, as she took the dog from her boyfriend.
Nate backed up. He was silent. I know why. He's scared... I don't blame him.

Later that night, I was walking down the hall, I overheard a conversation between Nate and Morgan.. They were in they're room.
But being nosy, I stopped, looking it over. Morgan was on her side of the bed, under the covers, reading a book. Nate sat at the end of their bed, on his side, with his 3DS. Rylo was lying in the middle of the bed, asleep.
"What do you mean?" Morgan asked him, setting her book down, looking at her boyfriend.
"I don't know Morgan, something's not right with him.." Nate answered her calmly.
"Like what?" She asked him.
"You saw what happened earlier, he freaking attacked me with a knife. And yesterday, he stabbed me with Scissors." He said.
"Yeah," she said. "You are right. Something's going on, but I'm not sure what. I'm sure he's okay."
"I hope so.." He said, looking back at his game.
"I mean, I'm not bothered by them being here, considering they let us stay at their house when I could get up the stairs here, but I feel like I can't do anything. For some reason, I feel like I need to watch my back in my own house. I don't feel 100% safe, Morgan." He explained.
She looked at him. "I guess that's understandable. He's attacked you two times already, and now he's in our house. But I'm sure you'll be fine."
He looked at her with a smile. "Yeah, I think so." He said.
She then looked at him. "When did they say those stitches had to be removed?" She asked.
He looked down, then back at her. "These ones don't they just dissolve with water or something." He told her gesturing to his chest. "The others one, on the other hand need to be removed next week."
She looked at him again. "We should probably get your arm stitched up before it's infected."
"If you think it needs to be." He said to her.
"I think it will."
I then left it there. He's scared of me now. He doesn't feel safe in his own house.
Now what?
