We're all at the penthouse.
Stephanie, Phoebe, Brett, Morgan, and even Nate himself.
They let him go, but they released him from the hospital on meds, so he crashed almost immediately.
He fell asleep at the counter, then Morgan woke him up, and walked him to the couch.
At this current time, she was sitting at on end of the couch. Nate was asleep on the couch, with Morgan, using Morgan's lap as a pillow.
He couldn't find a comfortable position, so she gave in, letting him curl up to her. My wife fetched one of his pillows from their bed to put on Morgan's lap, so he wouldn't hurt his neck, and Brett pulled the throw blanket over him, since we have the AC on.
She was watching TV, while he was asleep on his side, not moving. He's been like this all day, just wanting to curl up and sleep. He's only wanted to be with Morgan though, and by the looks of it, Morgan doesn't care that he's using her as a pillow, or is clinging to her.
She went three months thinking he was dead. I'm sure, finally seeing him is something I can't even feel the emotion for.
Morgan most likely wants to be with him as much during his recovery, being as he can't do a whole lot himself.
I've seen him try and walk without one of us helping him. He only got from the table to the island, before he hunched over in pain.
Morgan says he's not just hurting from the Surgery, (although that's the main reasons, doctors say) it's from lack of strength. He's still so weak. He still shakes like crazy.
But thankfully, he's relaxed. Morgan was watching an anime while Steph and I packed. We're leaving in two days. Steph just wanted to make sure, Morgan will be okay with Nate.
Morgan said she called someone to help, they should be here today.
As I set a box down, I watch Nate slowly roll over onto his stomach. I saw Morgan look down, in slight worry. I know what she's going to say.
"He's lying right on those stitches from the surgery." She said exactly what I was thinking, looking at her boyfriend. "Don't think he should be laying like that."
"He'll roll back over, if he's in pain, Morgan." I hear Phoebe say as she walked out of the hallway with her sewing stuff. "Don't worry, he won't kill himself if he sleeps on his stomach." She told her calmly.
"I know, I just thought maybe, it was hurting him."
"He's fine."
Just as Phoebe predicted, he moved back to his side. Morgan looked down at him, gently running her fingers through his hair, before she tapped the side of his head, in a way, I know he won't wake up.
She knows him the best. She knows what she's doing.
I then watched her kiss the side of his face, before going back to her show.
She missed him.
As she watched her show, she continued running her fingers through his hair. The two months, he was in the hospital, most of the clumps of hair that was missing is slowly growing back, he almost looks the same as before.. Besides how scrawny he is, but the only real difference, is some of his hair needs to grow back, and it just needs to thicken back out, which shouldn't take long.
I stood there silently, as he shifted slightly, moving his arm under the pillow.
Morgan only looked at him, resting her arm on his pillow. There was then a knock on the door, I watched Phoebe walk towards the door, opening it.
There at the door, was Nate's mother. I've only ever seen her once. Nate paid for her to come down for a month, for Morgan's birthday
There was silence, when Phoebe let her in.
"Hey." She said silently.
Morgan didn't get up. She couldn't. I have a feeling, if she gets up, he will wake up.
There was silence, but that's when I walked to the kitchen, watching his mother walk the couch.
"He's asleep." Morgan said silently. "And he's been asleep for a while."
I lost focus on the conversation. I heard the quiet talking, and that was it.. Everything is right now..
Thank god.
