Light and Lightning (LaxusXreader)

The day came for the S trail wizards to head to the island. They're all packed and at the dock of Magnolia waiting for the boat to arrive.
"I still wish I can come.. no fair that all my friends are leaving." says Reader.
"Didn't you promise Mira to help Kinana with the bar today?" asked Wendy.
"Yeah, but I wish you luck the most, Freed!" says reader.
"Thank you, (Y/N)." says Freed.
"Hey what about me?!" says Natsu.
"Okay okay! I wish you all luck!" Reader says smiling.
The boat then arrives to pick everyone up. Reader waves to all of them with Romeo.
"Good luck Natsu! Everyone else too!" yells Romeo.
"Let's go back to the guild Romeo, I can't wait to see who comes back an S Class wizard!" says reader.
"Me too!" yells Romeo.

Later at the guild, reader is behind the bar while Kinana is serving food and drinks. No one is taking jobs today because everyone wants to see who the winner is when they get back tonight. The S class trail is only for one day.
Suddenly a feeling comes over reader of uneasiness since Carla and Pantherlily left to Tenrou.
"I wonder why Carla was so paranoid since the members left, must be something if she just took off to the island to check on Wendy." says reader.
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure she's just overprotective of Wendy. You know as well Carla is like that." says Bisca.
"Yeah, you're probably right." says reader.
"The suspense is killing me!" says Bisca.
"Me too!"

It's night time and the guild should be closing soon.
"Looks like they all didn't get back yet." says Wabaka.
"Yeah. Maybe the trail is carrying over another day, must be intense." says Macao.
"Well we should be closing up and they'll be here tomorrow for sure!" says Nab.

Reader and Kinana close up the guild for the night. Reader and Kinana head back to Fairy Hills together.

The next day, reader and Kinana open the bar and the members are rolling in. The members that left for the S trail, including master, still never showed up that day.

The next day everyone started to worry.
"Yeah, now I'm thinking something did happen. Pretty sure Carla would've came back to let us know." says reader.
"We should get a boat and have someone head to the island and see what's up." says Wabaka.
"I've already rented a ship for us this morning. Me and Alzack will head out. Who will join us?" Says Bisca.
Max and Warren volunteer.
Reader looks at Kinana.
"Go, most of your friends are out there. I can run the guild on my own." says Kinana.
"Okay, thanks Kinana. I will also go, Bisca." says reader.
"Right on, suger. Let's go guys." says Bisca.
All of them leave for the boat.

Later at sea.
"The island should be nearby, but I don't see it anywhere." says Max.
"What do you mean? These are the coordinates, the island should be here." says Warren.
"(Y/N), can you use your light path to see if we're in the right direction?" asks Bisca.
"Yeah, sure." says reader "Light path, show me the way to Tenrou island!"
Readers path light orbs, that usually align in a straight path like, are now scattering around the ship.
"What?" says reader surprised "What is this? Why is my path not working?!"
"That's strange." says Alzack.
"Is your magic path saying the island is here?" asks Warren.
"No, I don't know what's going on." says reader as she makes her light orbs disappear.
"It's okay, we'll head back, get some help to find the island." says Bisca.

Once reader and the others are back in Magnolia, they head towards the guild. Once they enter the guild, they spot everyone looking sad.
"What happened?" asks Alzack.
Macao walks over to reader and the others.
"A messenger from the magic council was just here. They said that the island was destroyed, and there were no survivors." says Macao.
"What?!" yells everyone except reader.
"Wendy?.. Freed? Bixlow.. Ever.." Reader couldn't continue as she thought of everyone who went to the island.
"Why didn't the magic council tell us earlier?!" yells Bisca "What we're they doing?!"
"Calm down Bisca." says Alzack.
Alzack starts to hold Bisca.
"No. We can't believe that they're gone! We have to look!" says Romeo.
"Romeo." says Macao feeling bad for him.
"Since when did we ever listen to the Magic council?" says Jet.
"Yeah! We need to search for ourselves if they're gone. All they said was that the island disappeared. How could they tell that there was no survivors?" says Droy.
"Yay!" Cheered the guild members.
"Alright! Well get a search party going, get as much help as we can get!" says Macao.
