Light and Lightning (LaxusXreader)

The next day.
It was the fourth day of the grand magic games. The teams were at the stands waiting for the games to begin. Reader is standing with Team B as Mystogen (Jellal) still hasn't returned to compete in the games.

"So, did you guys kiss and make up?" asks Gajeel smiling at reader and Laxus.
"That's private." says reader.
Laxus laughs.
"Welcome back folks! It's the forth day of the grand magic games, and we got some exciting news update!" says the announcer.
"I wonder what's this about?" asks Mira.
"Beats me." says Gajeel.
"Remember Jason's announcement on the second day of the games? We just received an update on the status of Fairy's Tails eligible bachelorette (Y/N)(L/N)! The Team B member is no longer single as she has been spoken for by no other than her teammate, Laxus Dreyar of Fairy Tail!" says the announcer.
Reader is embarrassed that her relationship has been the talk of the games, she stands there as the crowd cheers.
"So much for private." says Gajeel has he smiles while Mira and Juvia laugh.
"I know boys, we missed our chance, fellas." the announcer continues
"Tch, yeah right." says Laxus annoyed.
Reader looks up at Laxus and smiles at him.
"Well let's give it up folks for Fairy Tail's new power couple! After yesterday's performance, they definitely are a couple you don't want to mess with." says the announcer as the crowd cheers more.
"Now let's see if the Fairy Tail guild can give us more surprises today! Today's competition will begin in a moment! Today's game is called Naval Battle!" says the announcer.
The announcer continues on to explain the rules about the game that will be in a big water orb floating above the arena.
"This game is obviously for me." says Juvia serious.
"You go Juvia!" says Mira.
As the team give uplifting words to Juvia, reader feels like someone is looking at her. Reader looks around and sees, at the Sabertooth's team balcony, that Sting was looking at her.
Reader doesn't know why but she feels a little guilty that Sting had to find out about her and Laxus through the public announcement.
"Something bugging ya?" asks Laxus.
Reader snaps out of it and looks at Laxus.
"No, I'm fine." says reader.
"No you're not, I can see it in your face that something is wrong."
Reader smiles at Laxus' comment and hugs him around his waist.
"Don't worry about it, I'll handle it." says reader looking up at Laxus.
Laxus then leans over to kiss her on her lips.
"Fine by me. I know my woman, she's got this." says Laxus.
"Yuck, keep the mushy stuff to yourselves." says Gajeel.
"You guys are adorable! And did you actually say 'Yuck', Gajeel?" says Mira.
Reader giggles at what Mira said.
"Juvia will make you guys proud! Especially for my darling, Grey!" says Juvia as she joins in the arena.

Reader watches the game starts and Lucy in Team A joins the game too. The fight goes on and from the start Juvia is going against Lucy's celestial spirit Aquarius who also has water magic. They're magic is even. The member from Quatro Puppy has been kicked out by Blue Pegasus. 6 team still in the battle.
As the fight goes on suddenly Aquarius tells Lucy that she has a date and leaves the battle, making Lucy by herself again. Lucy then calls upon her 2 other celestial spirits helping her in the battle. Juvia then casts a spell that knocks out 3 more members using a spell she names after Grey.
"Wow! she's totally got this!" says reader.
"Put that girl in water, there's no stopping her." says Gajeel.
Suddenly Juvia is out of the water orb putting herself in 3rd place.
"That idiot." says Gajeel.
"Oh dear, she must have gotten distracted." says Mira.
"At least Lucy is still in there, she's still Fairy Tail, we might as well cheer for her." says reader.
"Right." says Mira.

They watch as Lucy is left alone with Sabertooth member, Minerva. The 5 minute rule then takes place. If any of them were to get kicked out within the 5 minutes, they are automatically in last place, Lucy's keys are taken by Minerva so Lucy is left helpless getting hit and hit by Minerva telling her to give up.
"You want me to give up? Not happening! I won't do it! Hurt me all you want , I don't give a damn! My guild will be number 1 again!" says Lucy as she's hurt.
The 5 minutes are up. Minerva then starts attacking Lucy, not letting her fall out of the water orb. Beating Lucy hit and hit.
"This is torture!" yells reader.
"STOP!"
Reader hears Natsu yelling.
The referee finally ends the match. Everyone is angered in Fairy Tail. Then Minerva holds Lucy by the neck holding her outside of the water orb. Lucy isn't moving.
"That's it." says reader as she starts to climb over the ledge.
Laxus grabs readers arm. Reader looks back at Laxus.
"Don't do anything, I know this is bad, besides Natsu is already there." says Laxus.

Reader looks back in the arena and sees Natsu and Grey catching Lucy. Wendy and Shelia are also running to Lucy to heal her. Reader has no choice to watch for now. She then sees the Sabertooth team standing face to face with Fairy Tail A in the arena. Things look heated.
"What's going on down there? Both teams look like they're ready to rumble." says the announcer.

"Should we go down there?" asks Gajeel.
"I don't know." says Mira.

The crown starts chanting the word 'fight'. Suddenly Erza speaks up. coming between both of the teams.
"Although you may be strongest guild in Fiore. You'd be wise to heed this warning. Making an enemy of Fairy Tail is a decision you'll soon regret." says Erza.
"She's got that right." says reader.

Lucy is now being taken away from the arena and into the infirmary. They wait for Juvia to return to the team balcony. Juvia finally arrives dressed back up.
"Let's go." says Laxus.
The team already knows where they have to go. They make it to the infirmary where Lucy has been taken and has already been seen. Juvia opens the door then walks in.
"Any word on Lucy's condition?" asks Juvia.
"Is she awake?" asks Mira after Juvia.
"You guys came!" says Grey.
Gajeel walks in then reader follows.
"Well yeah, just because were on different teams doesn't mean we don't care. We are in the same guild." says reader as Laxus walks in behind her.
"Yeah, (Y/N) was about to go beat the crap out of someone, till her boyfriend stopped her." says Gajeel.
"Laxus?" says Natsu surprised to see he cares about Fairy Tail members.
"So? How is she?" asks Gajeel.
"She's not out of the woods yet, but she'll pull through, thanks to Wendy." says Porlyusica.
"It wasn't just me, were lucky Shelia was there to help out too." says Wendy.
"They're gonna pay." says Natsu angered.
"You can sure as hell bet on that one." says Laxus.
"They'll get what they deserve." says reader.

Suddenly Lucy is tossing and turning.
"She's awake!" says Happy on the bed next to her.

Everyone is surrounding the bed that Lucy is lying on. Lucy opens her eyes and looks around, reader is smiling at Lucy.
"You guys.. I'm sorry." says Lucy.
"Say what? Why you apologizing?" asks Natsu
"Because I screwed up again." says Lucy as she covers herself with the blanket she has.
"Are you kidding? 2nd place isn't something to be sorry about." says Grey.
Everyone agrees and Happy hands Lucy her celestial keys. Then both teams start talking about how Sabertooth should pay. Master walks in.
"Master." says reader.
"I'm glad both teams are here. I have something to tell you. I was just contacted by the games organizers, I'm not sure if it'll be a help or hinder to us as they want our 2 teams to make 1." says Master.
"What?" says Natsu.
"So we gotta be like everyone else now huh?" says Laxus.
"Why are they doing that?" asks Mira.
"Since Raven Tail has been disqualified there are now 7 teams. Making it hard to pair up matches for the battles. Were only allowed to keep the lower points of Team A, 35 points. So we gotta make our 2 Fairy Tail teams with 10 people into 1 team with 5." says Master.
"Well no matter what happens, I wanna get revenge for Lucy, if they think they can treat her like that, they're dead wrong!" says Natsu.
Reader grabs Laxus hand, Laxus looks down at reader.
"I know my man, and I know he's got this." says reader.
Laxus smiles at her.
"Hey, just a warning to you all, look away." says Laxus as he leans down to kiss reader.
"What for?" says Natsu looking at Laxus just as everyone else looks too.
Laxus kisses reader. Everyone responds in their own way with the kiss, mostly shocked. Reader's face goes red.
"Yeah you know everyone was gonna do the opposite. I said quit it with the mushy stuff." says Gajeel.
"Okay.. I'll be going." says reader as she runs out of the infirmary with everyone laughing after seeing how embarrassed reader got.
