Light and Lightning (LaxusXreader)

"It's day 2 of the grand magic games. Joining me once again is Mr. Yajima and our new special guest, Sourcerer's Weekly's Jason!" says the announcer.
"Soo coool! You'll never guess who I ran into this morning before the games. The legendary Haley's Comet!" says Jason.
"Wow! She's actually here at the games?" asks the announcer.
"That's right! Let's get a camera lacerma to show Fairy Tail's (Y/N)!" says Jason.

At the stand where reader is standing with her guild members. Reader has a shocked face.
"Noooo! They're really not going to do that right?" asks reader.
"Show yourself off, you are single after all." says Bisca.
"She's not a show horse." says Evergreen.
Reader then sees a camera lacrema pointing at her.
"Oh no.." says reader.
"Ain't she a beauty fellas? Last time this beauty was out in public like this was when she was in the games 2 years ago!" asks the announcer.
"Listen up fella's, she's also single." says Jason.
Then there's whistles and cheers coming from the crowd. Reader's face becomes red as she sees herself on the floating lacrema visions. Then suddenly reader sees the camera lacrema is struck by lighting. People become confused to what happened because they didn't see Laxus' fast lighting.
"Looks like we're having technical difficulties with one if our lacrema cameras. That was a lovely sight to see, no wonder they call her Halley's Comet. Since thats over with, we should continue with the second day of the games!" asks the annoucer.
"Coooool!" says Jason.
Reader obviously knows it was Laxus who destroyed the camera lacrema without having to look in his direction. He would just pretend it wasn't him anyways.

"What a pain." says Laxus thinking about how he should just announce that (Y/N) is his already.
"What is?" asks Mira.
"Something bothering Laxus?" asks Juvia.
Laxus sighs.
"It's nothing." says Laxus.
Then they announce the name of the game for the second day.
"Chariots ay? Sounds like this involves being on one. Gajeel, looks like this should be easy for you since Natsu has transportation sickness." says Laxus.
"You don't gotta tell me twice, I'll put him in his place." says Gajeel as he joins down with the others to be moved to the start of the line.
Laxus then looks towards reader. He sees her standing with the thunder legion. The lacrema-visions now show the Chariots contestants. He then watches the race going on.

As the race goes on, they see Gajeel has the motion sickness as well.
"Dragon slayers all have that weakness." says Mavis.
"Looks like Laxus' secret is out too haha." says Bixlow.
"Even so, Gajeel and Natsu are in last place along with Sting." says Freed.

Everyone watches as 5 people have already crossed the finish line. Leaving the three dragon slayers left to fight for 6th and 7th place. From the lacrema-visions, Natsu and Gajeel are still struggling to cross the finish line to pass Sting.
"Whatever, I didn't need this win anyway. I'll let you guys have it. Sabertooth is just gonna keep racking up the points after this, in the end, one measly little point isn't gonna change the outcome." says Sting.
Natsu and Gajeel still aren't phase by Sting's words, they still try their best to cross the finish line. As Sting watches them.
"I don't get it. Can you explain something to me? Why do you even bother entering the tournament? Seriously, I mean you're nothing like the Fairy Tail I knew growing up. You're obsessed with how tough you are and what rest of the world thinks of you. What happened to the Fairy Tail of my childhood? The guild that did the hell whatever they wanted, they never cared what anyone thought of them." says Sting.
"The reason were here is for our friends! The ones who waited for us, for all the years we were gone! Who fought through the pain, the heartache. They were humiliated, but even so, they stayed strong! They kept out guild together! Were doing this for all of them! Were gonna make sure everyone here knows, that the Fairy Tail guild never gave up! Not for an instant! So there's no way I'm gonna give up now!!" says Natsu.
After Natsu says all these words, it hit the Fairy Tail members who waited along with reader. She felt tears coming, she didn't want to cry but instead she tried her best to not to. Then suddenly Evergreen, Freed and Bixlow hug reader.
"What are you doing?" reader says as she has her eyes closed.
"Sweetie, you can't hide what you're feeling. Your body is glowing." says Evergreen.
"It's okay, we're here. Let it all out." says Bixlow.
"It's not good to hold emotions in." says Freed.
Reader then lets tears come out as the thunder legion hug her.

Laxus sees this happen, he wishes he was there to hold reader himself but he's glad he's got the thunder legion to look after her when he can't.
I'm grateful for those dorks. Laxus thought. I'll hold (Y/N) when I have the chance.
Just then Natsu and then Gajeel made it through the finish line making both Fairy Tail teams gain points. Surprisingly, the crowd finally cheers for Fairy Tail making this a good change for once in the games.

After the battle between Raven Tail and Quarto Cerberus, reader decides to go tell Wendy the news of what happened. She ends up running into Sting.
Stings walks up to reader with a serious face.
"Oh look who it is, Natsu' friend he's doing the games for, you know it's a waste of time." says Sting.
"I don't think it is. You did say before I was wasting my time waiting for them to come back."
"That still doesn't mean Fairy Tail will go back to it's old ways. Fairy Tail is done."
Reader turns around and walks away. Suddenly Sting grabs her arm. Reader looks back at Sting.
"Let go of me, Sting." says reader.
"You know I have been serious about you joining Sabertooth. I think it's about that time you joined now."
"Like I told you before, I'm not leaving my family."
Sting stays quiet. There's that word again. Sting thought.
"You'd be wise to let go."
Reader turns to see Freed standing there. Sting lets go.
"Smart move." says Evergreen coming from behind Freed, along with Bixlow.
"Touch her again and you'll feel pain." say Bixlow.
Sting backs up.
"Like I would be scared of a bunch of weak fairies." says Sting "that'll be the day." he continues as he turns to walk away.
Reader turns around to head back to the stand. The thunder legion follow.
"What a creep, was he always like that when he was a kid?" asks Evergreen.
"No, he was actually nice after our battle when we first met, he just got obsessed with power and me joining the guild afterwards. Rogue said it started to happen after the new master in Sabertooth took over." says reader.
"Hmm, a guild is as good as it's master." says Freed.
"Which makes us powerful!" says Bixlow.
Reader smiles as she walks with the thunder legion.
"Nevermind that, let's go before the battle starts!" says reader as she uses her light body to leave behind the thunder legion.
"Heeey!" all 3 of them say.
