Save Me Before I Fall (rewriting owo)

Every part of me is frozen. I'm made of stone.

Except for my ears. I still hear what they say... and what they don't. 

"What's wrong, Psycho? You finally all gone?" Peyton.

'Fucking stalker. Good thing she won't be around for much longer.' Alex.

"What do you say we do to her?" Peyton.

"Let her join the freaks down below." Alex. Laughter reaches my ears. "Why else would she be here?"

Down below.

Golden flowers fill my mind. Swaying in a quiet breeze.

Down.

My eyes narrow.

A quiet voice echoes in the back of my mind

You're filled with hate.

Something is in my hand. When did I pick something up?

You know what you need to do. Make him pay. Make THEM pay.

My fingers tighten around it.

Alex's eyes dart to my hands. "What is that?"

Peyton laughs. "Don't tell me you're going Psycho, too?"

I've darted forward before they can say another word. The knife in my hand tickles Peyton's throat. She freezes. Alex freezes. The forest goes silent.

"Psy- er, Ch-Chara... no need for violence right...?" Roxas laughs nervously.

Peyton says nothing, her big blue eyes staring into mine. Then she laughs. "Psycho wouldn't be able to do anything." She reaches up to grab the knife-

A flash of metal.

And red. Red on pale, pale skin.

Alex shouts. Peyton falls to the ground. I turn toward Alex.

I feel nothing.

I smile a little, holding the knife behind my back. "Oh, so now I'm Chara? Not Psycho? Not Freak?"

He's shaking.

I'm not.

"It's a bit late for that."

I point the knife at him. He runs.

I turn to the hole.

I know what he'll do. I heard it. He's going to the police.

I look down again. The golden flowers look back.

One step. Then another.

Then nothing. Wind whipping past. Gold filling my vision. I let go of the knife.

Everything goes black.
