"Hyung, I'm sorry but it's none of your business." Jooheon spoke up after a moment of silence.
"Jooheon, it is just that since you said something that could be considered hurtful to your teammate." Ah, so you don't care about me, just about the team? The hopes Minhyuk got up were now falling. For a moment he thought Shownu was his prince in shining armour but he forgot the male was his leader first.
"It's nothing, hyung..." He whispered, trying to hide the sadness in his voice but failing.
"Either you tell me what happened or I make sure you regret not telling me. Minhyuk, it's obvious you're hurt for a reason and I need to know why. Not as Shownu but as Hyunwoo." He said and sat at the floor right next to the younger boy's bed, taking his hand into his own.
"I just did something that can be considered really stupid and Jooheon keeps reminding me to stop it before something bad happens." He sighed.
"Something bad is already happening! It's not right, it never was and I don't care if you feel like you have to win to feel worthy by making Hyungwon feel like he's not." Oops he thought as soon as he let the name slip from his mouth.
"And what does it have to do with Hyungwon?" The leader asked, his eyes now dangerous and tone deadly.
"You know what, I'm done, Minhyuk, Hyungwon is not the person you want so there is no need to continue what you're doing. Let me know when you understand that. I'm going for a long walk. See you at the practise." Jooheon sighed exasperated and walked out of the room leaving the two of them in an uncomfortable silence.
"So... what was that about?" Hyunwoo asked slowly, almost carefully.
"I don't know what to do, hyung..." Minhyuk answered, tearing up just at the thought of the bet and how it was going to hurt the youngest visual.
"If you don't tell me what you did, I can't help you, you know? You might be embarrassed but remember, everyone makes mistakes so you shouldn't feel too bad about it. I'll try to help and I promise I won't judge. Not you." Hyunwoo spoke up, trying to soothe the younger male.
"You promise?" When Minhyuk received a nod he quickly blurted out the words he needed to get off his chest for so long. "Hoseok and I made a bet and now Hyungwon is going to suffer because the bet is about Hoseok being able to date him for a month and... the other stuff..." He didn't want to say out loud the other part of the bet. It was too heartless.
"Continue." Shownu said, trying to keep calm. There was no running away now.
"There were two parts of the bet. The first one Hoseok wins if today passes. He needs to make Hyungwon date him for a month. The second one is about making Hyungwon sleep with him and not leaving him until one week passes." He answered softly, hating himself for ever being this stupid and reckless.
"Okay, that sounds bad. Really bad. You need to end the bet right now. Do you even know how insecure Hyungwon is? Please, end the bet and make sure he never knows about it. Please, Minhyuk..."
