They were getting ready to perform their newest song on stage. Everyone was nervous. It's been a long time since the whole bet situation had taken place but there was no happiness, no feeling of friendship between them.

It was destroying Hyungwon. He didn't want to be the reason for the people dearest to him to hate each other. Why did he always have to ruin everything.

"My god, Hyungwon, are you even eating properly!?" One of his stylists cried in horror as she saw how skinny he had gotten. Hyungwon almost wanted to laugh at the thought of her seeing his scars and cuts. Would she have a stroke if she saw them?

But the truth was, he did stop eating regularly a long time ago.

Of course he wouldn't admit it out loud, he wasn't suicidal.

Or maybe he was.

He didn't even know anymore.

"I'm sorry." He said, ignoring all the looks he got from the stylists, the managers and his bandmates. "I just haven't been hungry lately."

What a lame excuse. He cursed himself in his mind but didn't say anything else to anyone.

"And are you sure you want to wear long sleeves? It's almost 30 degrees outside." The manager asked. He was worried about the younger boy. He saw the change in his behaviour and look. He was so...  fake. Fake, too thin and too tired.

"I'm sure. I don't like people looking at me when I have nothing in the place they're looking at." Hyungwon answered politely.

"Well all right, be it your way. You won't match though. Everyone else will be wearing t-shirts." The manager answered sceptically.

"Wait, I'll also wear long sleeves." Jooheon spoke up, smiling at his hyung warmly. He was still one of the people who made sure Wonho and Minhyuk regretted ever doing anything to Hyungwon. And the way he did it was the worst.

He would make sure the two of them knew exactly what it felt like to be played with. He would make sure they knew every single emotion Hyungwon was feeling and it was devastating for Hoseok, Minhyuk and, unfortunately, him. But he didn't care.

They'd hurt hurt Hyungwon.

And Jooheon was only making sure they were equally hurt even though he knew it was impossible. So what if it was also hurting him. He had to do it.

"Come on, hyung, let's wear those long-sleeved bastards!" He added, clutching the older one's hand and taking him to the dressing rooms.

He knew perfectly well what was hidden behind those sleeves and he found himself crying inside because of his friend's suffering.

But he would be there for him. Even though he knew he wasn't the one Hyungwon needed, he would be there and stay there even when Hyungwon came back.

Because the void vessel that he was so desperately clutching onto was not Hyungwon.
