You Kept Your Promise (Sequel to Jade And Onyx)

Me: So I'm writing this on Thursday and I took a "sick" day. Now I'm listening to I don't care by Fall Out Boy and I'm about to watch warm bodies cx So, who would like to start off le disclaimer partay on this lovely (it's cloudy outside) day?

Sasgay: I will I will! I don't think I've done it.

Ashton: I haven't either....

Naruto: Yeah yeah, guess who cares?

Me: Doctor Who.

Neji: Smart.

Ashton: Hahahaha you just got owned! -high fives-

Me: -high fives- Sasuke, disclaimer!

Sasgay: Gotcha! Arianna doesn't own Naruto-

Naruto: You don't own me....

Sasgay: Or any of it's characters-

Naruto: I'm an it now? #Heartbroken

Hinata: He's talking about the anime.

Carolyn: Duh.

Sasgay: Oh let me finish! She only owns Carolyn, and Ashton-HEY WHY IS MY NAME SASGAY?!

Me: ON WITH LE CHAPPIE!

I've been working on the Liu Xiang case nonstop this week. I haven't talked to Sasuke any, no surprise there. We've managed to avoid each other impressively.

I had a couple leads and suspects in the Liu Xiang case. It was great. Hopefully this is solved soon.

It was almost time for my lunch break, and I was ready to eat. Naruto and I were going to Ichiraku ramen, a branch from the original in Konoha. Naruto says he would have died if there wasn't an Ichiraku in Tokyo.

We were leaving in about four minutes.

I bit my lip and glanced at the papers before putting them back in the folder. I decided to listen to Falling In Reverse until Naruto came.

I took my phone and tapped "Fashionably Late" by them. Perfect! I might listen to two songs because Naruto isn't punctual.

I'm halfway through my fourth song when Naruto shows up, apologizing for his slight tardiness. I roll my eyes and take my Batman headphones out. We leave after I lock the door of my small office.

"So, you still avoiding Teme?"

"Why does everyone kno- never mind. And yes. I am."

"Word spreads fast in friendship," Naruto clarified.

"I can tell."

We arrived at Ichiraku and ordered at the counter. It was slightly classier in decor than Konoha, but that's probably because it's in a bigger city. Still, this place is pretty impressive for a branch. Let's just hope the ramen is just as good, or better, than the one in Konoha.

We sat on those bar stools in from of the counter and waited for the food.

"You should really talk to him."

"Ick. Everyone's telling me that!" I pouted.

"Because it's true."

"Well why do I have to make the first move? This sucks!"

"Because Sasuke's too much of a pus-"

"I refuse. Food's here, shut up and eat," I interrupted.
