A Fix in Time ~Benlos~

~I don't really know if I'm using a prologue right but this is just basically what I took out of the epilogue to make it so there was more stuff for this, anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter, the first half is the epilogue of Book 1 so enjoy!~

~Carlos' POV~

"Carlos, what's up? You've been acting differently for almost a month now and you still won't tell us what's wrong," Jay said as he came into my room. It wasn't big, actually, it was quite small, it didn't really matter cause I wasn't in it much.

Ever since I came back I have been regretting doing it more and more. When I found out that we weren't going and it was just me, well, I thought I'd be happy. Excited that I wouldn't be ruining his life and that new villain kids might have actually had a chance to see the good in themselves like we all once had. And for a month, I was, I was perfectly content with the new life I had going on, which was actually my old life.

It wasn't until the dreams started happening that I started to miss him. I think if it was just regular dreams, I would've been okay, but these weren't just dreams. They were memories. It was memories from the timeline where I went to Auradon Prep, where I actually met Ben.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just tired," I mumble him a response and he groans.

"That's what you always say, if you can't tell them, at least tell me," he said, almost as if he was begging. "I'm worried about you, Carlos." I wanted to tell him, I really did. He was my best friend, but he wouldn't get it.

"I thought we were supposed to be villains, we only care about ourselves remember," I respond more harsh than intended and there's a hurt expression that washes across his face.

"We've always cared about each other and that's it. I don't know what's going on with you but I can see that's it's bothering you and you're going to have to tell someone sooner or later." He says, I know he's only trying to help but It's starting to annoy me. I'm perfectly content with me dealing with my problems on my own.

Ben's coronation was last week, I think that's what made my little sad bubble even sadder actually.

"Jay, if I tell you this, you have to promise not to tell anyone," I say, getting up quickly from my laying position. He was right, I need to tell someone about this, it's been eating me up inside.

"I promise I won't, tell me."

"I'm serious Jay! You ha-"

"Dude, I've been keeping the secret that you're gay for how long now? I'm pretty sure you can trust me." He states with a smirk on his face and I roll my eyes in amusement.

"Fine. Jay, I am fro-"

"Guys! Get out here!" I hear Mal yell from outside. It sounded urgent so we both ran out there. When we got out there I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw black, clean looking limousine. A tall man in a black suit walked out of the driver's side and opened a scroll he had in his hand.

"Mal of Maleficent, Evie Queen, Jay of Jafar, and Carlos De Vil. You have been invited to attend Auradon Prep for one semester as a part of King Ben's VKDC program." Suddenly all eyes were on us and we all slowly walked towards the Limousine. "All your parents have been informed, you have one hour to pack and then I will be leaving. If you have anything that might be too big for the limo, our on campus Fairy is willing to help you."

The passenger door opened and out stepped... Sazana!!! She looked over at me and her eyes went big, she whispered something to the guy and quickly speed walked to me. When she got to me she wrapped her arm around mines and pulled me towards my room.

"Let's go pack!" She says with a smile plastered on her face. It stayed like that until the door shut in my room and she quickly let me go.

"I don't know what's going on but you need to fix it!" She whisper yells at me. I give her a confused looked. Fix it? Fix what? And what could I do that she couldn't?

"Fix it?! You want me to fix what?" I say confused and she sighs.

"I don't know! But something isn't right, when you reversed time everything was supposed to happen how it did before, you and I were supposed to be the only ones who could change it because we knew what would happen if we decided one thing."

"But for some reason, things are different without either of us changing anything. I woke up and I had been working as the school's on campus fairy for a month. And instead of you, Mal, Evie, and Jay, it was Uma, Henry, Gil, and Dizzy! I don't know what's going on but you need to fix it!" She says, kinda freaking out. 

"Wait, why can't you just do it? I mean you are the most powerful Fairy in the world right?" I say, still dumbfounded at how fast she said all that in one breath. She just rolled her eyes and groaned.

"I've thought of that! For some reason, no potion or spell I use on time is working how I want it to." She said while flopping down on my bed. I didn't know what to say so I sat there quietly. I looked over at the clock and seen that 15 minutes had passed and my eyes grew big. 

"I need to pack I only have 45-"

"Help him with what he lacks, make sure all of his stuff is neatly packed." Suddenly there was a flash and all of my things were sitting in a nice suitcase on my bed. I looked at Sazan and she just gave me an 'oh well' shrug and I laughed. 

"Come on, there's a lot more that I can't explain and you'll just have to see for yourself." With that, she grabbed me once again by my arm and threw me into the Limo. Not long after, the other three were finished packing and ready to go and once again I find myself sitting in this limo, going back to Auradon. Once again, Jay dived straight for the little candy bar while Evie admired the long vehicle. 

This time Mal was with her, admiring how clean the seats were, how expensive looking everything in there was. This time, Maleficent didn't give us a plan, this time we were going for ourselves. 

And this time, I'm not screwing up.

Ahhh okay okay okay, now I can officially welcome you to Book Two of my Descendants fanfic!! Ahhhh!! Tell me what you guys think about it in the comments!! Okay, let me answer some things!! SPOILER ALERT WHAT IM ABOUT TO TELL YOU ARE SOME THINGS THAT'LL BE GOING  ON WITHIN THE BOOK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW RIGHT NOW THEN SKIP THE REST OF THIS NOTE 

Uma, Harry, Gil, and Dizzy will all be in this book,  they'll all be good, but as of right now I think there will be less of Uma and More of the other three. 

Gil and Harry will end up being in a gay relationship (it might be a sub-plot but it also just might end up being like that when Carlos sees them. I still don't know) 

There will be a love triangle, and that love triangle will turn into a Love square. 

And last but not least, the main antagonist of this book is Time. No, it is not a physical thing or a being, but it is Time as a general standard, hence the title of this book.
