A Fix in Time ~Benlos~

~Carlos' POV~ 

"You know what, I think I'm still not ready for that pizza, give me an hour?" I say quickly. I don't know what just happened with Ben but something tells me it's not good. 

"Yeah, sure. I gotta get this sorted anyway," He says motioning to his still glowing eyes. He gives me a quick peck on the lips before taking off. When I get back to my room I start pacing back and forth, what is happening? I mean I know what's happening, but how? Last time I checked I couldn't go back in time again it was the universe stopping me with the... TimeWaves! 

That must be what's going on! Somehow a TimeWave threw me into some different world where I never went back! I mean this place is great but it's not real! I have to find a way out! 

~With everyone else~ ~Mal's POV~

"You know what I'm not understanding? Why is it such a problem if Ben finds out?" I ask after Doug comes back in. 

"Because Carlos didn't want to do the same thing he did to Ben last time, he believes he ruined his life last time," Sazana states and then Chad chimes in. 

"But if Ben figures it out himself then what harm does it do? Nothing will be on Carlos," He responds. "Ugh I miss the days when this wasn't taking over our lives!" He finishes while leaning in more to Doug. 

"Look, Ben's pretty close to figuring it out, I say we tell him and see if he can wake Carlos up," I offer and we all let it sit while we think about it. Finally after about 30 seconds I spoke up. 

"Honestly right now that sounds like the best plan we can come up with," I say. 

~Doug's POV~

"Ben died in the last timeline, remember? We all did!" I blurt out, motioning to Jane, Chad Lonnie and I. Mal had called everyone else involved in this situation over so that there wouldn't be any confusion.

"But what does that have to do with this timeline? If Ben can wake Carlos up we don't have to worry about that." Mal rebuttals and Jay nods in a agreement. 

"Yeah maybe, or they could reset it themselves because they're not in love yet!" I respond and they all give me a confused look. 

"I'm not following?" Evie says and I sigh. 

"Well we all know that the universe wants to reset itself to who knows how far back or to what. All we know is that it obviously wants Carlos and Ben together, but what if having them try and perform a true loves kiss when they're technically not in love resets the timeline?" I express my concerns and they all still seem a little confused. 

"But they're each others true love? That shouldn't matter as long as they kiss, right?" Jay asks and I give a 'ehh' face. 

"I would think so too but only Carlos is in love with Ben, Ben still doesn't completely understand what he's going through, there's no way he's in love with Carlos." I exclaim "And what if the two people that are 'meant to be' kiss and they feel nothing? That's sure to cause some sort of trouble for the universe li-" 

"Like reseting the timeline for it." Chad finishes my sentence for me and walks over to me and grabs my hand to comfort me. 

"And so where or what does that leave the four of us? There's a chance that with the reset the universe could just... get rid of us again like it did at the end of the last timeline." I finish my tangent and we all just sigh out of pure exhaustion of the situation. Chad guided me to one of the empty seats and I sat down while he sat on the arm of the chair. 

"So he quite literally HAS to fall in love with Carlos in order for this to work." Mal says to the room, not to anyone specific. 

"Wait, what if Sazana brings his memories back? Like she did with Harry!" Evie yells out excitedly and we all look at Sazana and she has an unsure look written on her face.
