"I was wondering if I could see your book of potions. I'm..uhh, taking a class on potions and I wanted to catch up a bit so I could be at the same level as everyone else." He lied. Ever since he went back in time, his lying skills have gotten way better, he had to pretend everything was normal on the island and he was glad he did, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to pull that lie off.

"Okay..." She said hesitantly. She walked to her back room and came back out with her big book of potions. "This has every potion known to creature in this book. I got in from my godmother." Sazana added. Carlos grabbed the book out of her hand and started flipping through it.

"Is this in alphabetical order?" Carlos asked after flipping a couple of pages and she nodded. "Great." He said as he flipped all the way to the M's.

"Hey, this is interesting, a memory brew. It helps bring back people memories." Carlos said aloud to Sazana and she looked at him strangely.  "Can I use your bathroom?" He asked and she nodded and pointed the way.

"Thanks!" He said and when he was out of her sight, ran towards her potion room. When Carlos noticed the place was almost the exact same as her old home from before, he thought he could hurry and brew up the memory potion and it would hopefully give her her memory back.

"Okay Okay. Okay. What did that brew say again?" Carlos asked himself as he tried to remember the ingredients. "Dragons tail!" He yelled aloud to himself the first ingredient and started finding the rest.

As he was making the potion, Sazana was getting worried at how much time he was taking in the bathroom and decided to go check on him.

~~Carlos' POV~~

"Carlos?" I heard Sazana knock on the bathroom door and I freaked out. I was only halfway finished with the brew and I still needed to actually brew it.

"Carlos! Where are you!" Sazana yelled out for me angrily. As I put smushed the last couple ingredients together, I put them with the others finishing off the ingredients, but that's when I realized, she doesn't have a brewer.

"No, no, no!" I whisper yelled to myself. Okay, no, don't give up, I can fix this. But how? I heard Sazana going through all the rooms of the house and the doors were getting closer and closer to her hidden potion room.

"There's no way.." I heard her say to herself as she opened the door to the potion room. Luckily I was able to hide behind the mixing table before she came in. "Ugh, Carlos! Where did you go?!" She left the potion room and I heard the front door open, she's probably looking for me outside.

"Okay, okay Carlos think, how can I turn this stuff into a brew? What even is a brew? isn't it just like hot coffee and stuff? Oh wait, I can just use this stuff with hot water! That'll make it a brew. Or at least I hope it will." I said to myself. Before I left the potion room I made sure there was no sign of Sazana, and when I was sure I booked it to the kitchen.

When I got to the kitchen, I turned on the hot water and grabbed a spoon. When it was really hot I put the cup under the stream and let water our into it. When it was filled I turned the water off and used the spoon to mix it and to my surprise, the ingredients started to dissolve into the water. It was working! Yes, I'm a genius!

"What are you doing?" I hear Sazana's voice from the entrance to the kitchen and I look over at her like a deer in headlights.

"Okay, hear me out. You and I have met each other before. You gave me a potion to reset the timeline and when I did things got messed up an-"

"Stop talking! I don't believe you! If you were to reset the timeline I would remember you. Now-"

"No, please you have to believe me! Why would I make something like this up?!" I plead her to listen to me but she just seems so stubborn.

"Because you're crazy! Now come on, I'm reporting you to the king!" She says and my eyes go big. No, this can't happen, I was supposed to get Ben to love me again. I looked at the cup on the counter and then looked at her. It didn't say she had to drink it.

"I'm sorry for this," I say as I pick up the cup and throw the contents inside of it at her. With a large puff of blue smoke, the liquid threw her against the wall that was directly behind her.

"Oh my goodness, Sazana!" I rushed over to her side when she fell on the groan lifted her head up. "Are you okay??"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Her eyes were closed and when she opened them she gasped. "Carlos?!"

"Yes?" I ask in a confused tone. I wasn't sure if it worked or not, but she was looking at me oddly.

"It's you! I mean I knew it was you when you talked to me earlier but it's like-"

"You forgot me," I finished her sentence and she nodded in agreement. "Saz, what's going on? I mean, first, when I went back in time, things were changing that shouldn't have been changed. Second, when you tried to fix the timeline or undo my time traveling mishap, it didn't work. And then for some unknown reason, you forget me and what happened."

"I-I don't know. None of this should be happening but it is." She says, sounding frustrated. I just wish things would have worked out perfectly the first time we came here.

"And to think, this all started because I wanted to give Ben his life back," I say with a scoff at myself. "Now he's just living a lie. He's getting married to Audri and she isn't even his true love, I am."

"Oh, I'm stupid!" Sazana yells as she stands up really quickly. "You and Ben were each other's true love!"

"So what does that mean?" I ask, still not following her train of thought.

"It means, because you reset the timeline, no one can rewind it like that again. Only you. And that's why it wouldn't work for me!" She says, running to her potions room. I follow her and when I get in there she's mixing stuff together.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm making another time-traveling potion- and done!" She yells, holding up a glass beaker filled with a colored liquid. "It's the exact same one that got us into this mess, and it's going to get us out. All you have to do is go back to when you were already here the first time and do things differently." She hands it to me and I look at her.

"Here goes nothing," I say. I close my eyes and let the glass beaker slip out of my hands like the first time I did it. Everything goes quiet for a second then I hear someone's voice.

"Carlos?"
