Shawn Mendes Imagines [A.U]

It was a quite Friday morning and Shawn had been at the studio since seven am. He has been working on his third album for months now I'm so excited to hear it all come together.

This time in his career tends to be a happy one and sad time all together. Soon after his album comes out he will be going on tour again and I won't get to see him for quite a while. At the end of the day I know he is doing what he loves and that's all that matters.

While I am excited for his new album he has been extremely busy and is about to go out of town again. At the end of the day I'm happy for him but it makes me so happy to see him happy.

Shawn isn't going to be back until around eight tonight which I'm kind of use to it and it doesn't bother me to much. I decided to go ahead and take a nap since there was nothing else to do.

I begin to wake up slowly to see Shawn laying down beside me with a huge smile on his face.

"I got us dinner and I know you're hungry." Shawn whispers in my ear causing a smile to come across my face.

"What did you get?" I asked him

"Your favorite spaghetti and some nice garlic bread." Shawn tells me as my smile gets bigger in shock.

"I'm ready" I say sitting up really fast ready to get some food.

Once we are done eating we begin to sit down and watch one of my favorite shows Cupcake Wars, which Shawn absolutely hates because he believes muffins are superior.

Time quickly gets away from us when Shawn looks up at his phone to see that it is 11:30pm and he has to get going.

"I need to start heading to the airport my flight leaves at 12:30." Shawn says getting up then going into our room to get his things.

Shawn comes back to see that I'm looking a little sad that he has to go. He comes over and grabs my hands pulling me up into his arms giving me a soft huge.

"I don't want you to leave." I say up against his chest as he starts rubbing my back.

"I know but it won't be to long this time." He say lifting my head up to look him in the eye.

"I won't see you for two months. I miss you Shawn." I told him trying to hold back my tears.

"I know and when I come back it will be just you and me. I promise." He told me giving me a kiss on the cheek and then wiping a tear away that had rolled down my face.

"Okay" I told him giving him a smile

"I know this time is hard on you and I know it has been extra hard this time because I've been extremely busy these past weeks but I promise that I will make it up to you. Now can I get a kiss goodbye?" Shawn asked me as I wiped away my tears giving him a goodbye kiss.
