Y/N P.O.V

"I can't believe I'm going to see Shawn tonight in Nashville! I'm so excited." I told my friend Lydia as we were walking across campus

"I know I can't wait either. I know you're more excited than me." She said as I just laughed

"I am, I'm just so ready. You want to come to my apartment to get ready after class?" I asked her

"Yeah, I just have one more and I'll meet you there." Lydia told me as we stopped in front of the building she needed to go into.

"Prefect" I told her as she went inside for class and I made my way to my car.

Lydia and I finished up our makeup before making our way into Nashville stopping at our favorite coffee shop for a snack. Lydia had already gotten her food while I stood over near the pick up area waiting for them to call my name.

"Y/N" I head the man call out as I grabbed my food then turning around to make my way back over to the table.

I turn around to run straight into someone dropping my food getting all over me and the person I just bumped into.

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't pay attention-." I said before realizing who I bumped into... Shawn

"It's not worry's. I can buy you a new one." Shawn said as I just stood there covering my mouth.

"No no, it's completely my fault. I'm sorry." I said picking up the food I dropped then rushing to get napkins.

I turn to see Shawn grabbing a few napkins himself as we clean each other up. I look over to see an employee cleaning up what I had starting to feel really and embarrassed.

"Are you sure you don't want me to buy you another one? It's no problem." He asked after we both finished cleaning up

"I already feel bad for dropping it and getting it all over you." I told him nervously rubbing my arm

"I'm buying it for you. What's your name by the way?" He asked laughing at me

"It's Y/N. I'm big fan of yours." I told him not being able to stop smiling

"Are you coming to the show tonight?" He asked me as we waited for our coffee

"Yeah, my friend and I are going. We're so excited." I told him trying my best not to fangirl

"I hope you enjoy the show. Would you want backstage passes?" He asked taking me by complete surprise

"Wait, What? I don't deserve it." I said kind of loud

"You're so cute. I can give you and your friend one." He said causing me to blush

"Omg really? Shawn you really don't have to." I said in shock as he just smiled at me

"I want to so I'll see you later." He said as I just nodded not being able to come up with words.

"Ummm... so how we get backstage. No ones going to believe if I say that you invited me." I said as we both just laughed

"You're good, let me see your phone." He said as handed him my phone

"Call me when you get there. I know the show doesn't start until 7:30 but you could come early." He told me giving me my phone back

"Yeah I can but why?" I asked

"I want to talk to you before the show." He told me causing me blush at the idea.

"Yeah... Umm.. so I'll see you" I told as both went our separate ways and I made way back to Lydia to see staring straight at me

We arrived to the stadium early like Shawn said. Lydia and I walked inside to see people already there. I grab my phone to call Shawn as we waited off to the side.

"Hey Y/N" I heard Shawn as it hit me that I was really on phone with Shawn Mendes

"Hey, we just got inside."  I told him trying keep my voice low while having it loud enough for him to hear me over everyone around me.

"Awesome, I'm on my way." He said before we hung up.

"Should we get closer to the front?" Lydia asked

"Yeah, hope this doesn't create a seen." I told her as we made our way to the gates.

Moments later I started to hear girls screaming I started to look around before making eye contact with Shawn as he walked over towards us. Shawn begins to talk to the security guard to unlock the gates to let us in. We climbed our way in as everyone started pushing to get to Shawn. We make our way in with him giving us both a hug.

Shawn talked to everyone for a few minutes before we walked to the back. Immediately Conner and Lydia hit it off just talking to each other while Shawn and I left talking alone until he had to leave for the meet and greet.

Lydia and I made our way to our sits then having the show start. Towards the end of the show I got a text from Shawn tell us to meet him at front to come backstage. Jake came over bringing us back to see Shawn there smiling at us.

"You did amazing!" I told him as he hugged me

"Thank you both. I'm so glad you enjoyed the show." Shawn said after giving Lydia a hug looking at the both of us.

Lydia and Conner started talking while Shawn and I listened for a minute before Shawn whispered in my ear.

"When can I see you again?" He whispered taking me by surprise

"I think the real question is how long are you here for." I told him as he nervously messed in his hair

"I'm here for the weekend and I'll be back." He says smirking

"Then I'll see tomorrow for lunch and don't be late." I told him

"I'll be there" he said into my ear giving me one last hug until tomorrow
