"Would you ever date me?" Shawn asked biting down on him bottom lip.

"Shawn it's just not that easy." I told him for the second time now.

"Why not?" Shawn asked crossing arms over his chest.

"I..I just don't think I'm the right fit to be your girlfriend." I told him looking down at the ground

"What are you talking about?" He asked coming closer to me putting his hand on my chin being my face up to look him in the eye.

"I don't think I can handle the hate that's going to come with being your girlfriend I already get hate as it is and it's and it's really starting to get to me." I told him feeling nervous

"I know you can do this and you're the only person I want to be with. Please we can make this work we just have to try." Shawn said holding my hands

"I'm sorry, I just can't do this anymore. It's probably for the best that we just stay friends. I promise you there's someone out there who be the person you need but it's not me." I told him then looking at the ground and taking a deep breath.
