I SEE YOU

LOAINE’S P.O.V

I put some papers into its envelope.  I really wish Eve wouldn’t open this because yeah, even though she’s my best friend, I couldn’t humiliate myself either in front of her.  I was such a complicated person so this has never been easy. 

“Loaine, you’re there?  I’m coming over.”  Eve called me speaking with the too high tone.

“Yeah just knock.”

“No can you please standby at the living room because no way could I make it again inside.  We’re running late!  I don’t want to be late for the concert!”

“Okay, my goodness Evelyn okay, I’m going downstairs!”  I rolled my eyes as well as ran downstairs because apparently she could be here in any minutes.

“Good.  See you!”

I hung up the phone and made my way to the kitchen first.  Believe it or not, after spent some hours writing the letters, I even forgot to drink. 

“LOAINE, I’M OUTSIDE!”

I almost threw my glass because her voice was too loud.  She liked to shock me.  Don’t tell Eve that I was shocked okay.

“Hey you know that this thing over here is called door bell.”  I pointed.

“I know, but I know too that my voice is way more beautiful than a bell.”

“Yeah whatever,”

“Hey where’s the letter?”

“Here,” I handed her.  “Don’t you dare opening it or I’ll kill you.”

“No never Loaine, I know what I’m doing.  I gave you this advice; I’m not going to ruin this or humiliate you.  This is going just fine.  Trust me.”

“I trust you.”  I hugged her so tight.  “Thank you…”

“You’re welcome…”

“But hey, whatever you do in that concert or tour bus I don’t care, never tell Toby that my name is Loaine or you’re a friend of mine and stuff.”

“What?”

“Yeah, just don’t.”

“Now this is getting serious.  You want to be the anonymous one?”

“Aw not that much…but…yeah, I don’t know, I don’t feel like I should tell him who I am.”

“That’s weird…you weird.”

“Thank you.  And now go!  Kiss your sister to me and have fun!”  I shut the door before her and ran again upstairs.  Have I done something wrong?

TOBY’S P.O.V

The crowd was really loud!  Hey we love Philippines!  Now we were at the backstage, changing, to the next round of the show; bus party!

“Hey guys!”  Riley greeted the fans.  James and the crew helped us to manage the crowd so they could go into our tour bus easily.

“Hey!”

“How you guys doing?”  Connor added.

“We’re good thank you.  How are you guys?”  A fan answered him which made me smile a bit.

“We’re really happy to see you all.  Thank you.”  I nodded to that fan and the rest of them.

“TOBY WE LOVE YOU!”  Another fan tried to make conversation with us.

“Oh I love you too, thank you.”  I replied.

“OMG Toby talks to me!  Thank you Toby, thank you!”  The girl cheered to her friend beside her and I threw a smile.  The fame was somehow really awesome.

We played some songs like what we once did at the concert, but this time we made it as acoustic performance.  Connor had the guitar, Thomas was sitting at the chair beside our couch started to play with anything that he called ‘more likely drums’, I helped Connor in some guitar parts, and Riley sang.  The fans loved it so much.  They cheered and sang along with us.  But I…uh…couldn’t be focus on this…because…yeah, I tried to find her in the crowd.  But even none of them wore the bracelet and watch like what I saw.  This was way too far from over.  I got preoccupied. 

“Thank you guys so much we love you!”  Riley cheered to the fans as they followed us.  This was the end of the bus party.

We had some photo session together, one by one with them.  It should’ve helped me to discover that girl between them but unfortunately she wasn’t here.  I just felt it, she’s not here.  Probably she’d never come back.  Good job, Toby.

“Hey,” A girl tried to talk to me from behind, so I turned around and faced her.

“Hey, can I help you?”

“Uh…”

“Oh, you want to take a selfie?”

“Yeah actually…”  She bowed her head but holding the phone.  So I took it from her and already made a pose.

“Come, here we go.”  I got closer to her.  We got probably 5 shots.

“Thank you…”  She almost cried but I pulled her against my chest. 

“No, I thank YOU.”

“Hey I got something for you.  This…”  She handed me an envelope.

“You wrote me us a letter?”  I smiled.

“No, not me, that’s from my…  Whoa, never mind.  That’s from somebody you might want to know.  So please, don’t throw it away before you read it.  I beg you.  Please.”

“Hey okay sure, I won’t.  I’ll keep it and will read it tonight.”

“Thank you Toby you’re the best.  Thank you in advance, for reading it to her.”

“Her?  Is she a friend of yours?”

“I can’t tell you.  She made me promise.”

“Whoa this is getting…”

“Come on Eve we need to leave!”  Another girl pulled her hand to sign that they needed to leave. Yeah practically we got nobody here left anymore but these two girls.

“Okay Toby I have to go.  See you.  Come back here soon.”   She smiled.  I knew what that meant so I smiled her back.  “And read the letter.  Please.  That’s important.”

“Yeah I got this.”  I hugged her once again and waved away.  Well that’s weird.
