I stood at the edge of the cruise ship watching the waves. I have always loved the ocean, it was peaceful. Unlike the city.

It was such a perfect day, the sun was shining, wind was blowing, gulls were flying over the ocean. There were even some dolphins popping in and out of the beautiful blue Atlantic Ocean.

Today was the first day of the cruise I was taking with my family. I was so happy to leave the bustling city of New York. Almost anyone would KILL to come to New York city, or even live there, but not me. I've lived in New York City all my life, I would rather kill to go somewhere.....like I dunno, Virginia? Or Paris, France! Or London even! Let's just say i'm ready for a change of scenery.

~The Next Day
Y/N P.O.V~

It's a bit gloomy today, so what?
"Come on sissy! Teach me how to swim!" I heard my little sister Bella yell as she dragged me to the pool. "Gurl it's 2018 and you're seven, you should know how to swim." I laughed. She just pouted and crossed her arms. "Whaaaaat?" I asked, not understanding why she was mad.

~Bella's P.O.V~

Why is sister being so mean? Hmph, I'll show her that I can actually swim then. I walked to the railing of the ship and took off my floaties. I looked down at the water and waves hitting the boat. I felt fear rise in me as 𝘐 climbed and stood on top of the railing.

I heard Y/N pick up my floaties and run towards me, "Bella what are you doing- BELLA GET DOWN FROM THERE!" I heard my 19 year old sister, Y/N, yell as I jumped into the blue, cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

~Y/N P.O.V~

I heard none of the yells, shrieks, screams, and cries from the other passengers as I hopped over the railing and dove into the water after her. Dang, lemme tell you, this girl sinks fast.

I swam after her until we were like 100 feet underwater and I could grab her. Luckily for her, I had taken swim lessons for five years so I was a pretty good swimmer.

(Edit: 100 feet? Jess, my dear, you'd die-
Let's just say you're over exaggerating and it's only 40 because that's semi reasonable since you're supposedly an experienced swimmer)

Once I grabbed her I swam as quickly as I could to the surface. When I was on the surface I saw a rescue 'canoe' and a crew of men and women.

To make sure Bella would be ok, I handed her to them, but of course, as soon as I was about to get on the canoe my necklace fell off my neck.

My necklace...the family airloom, was about to sink to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

Without thinking I dove back into the water after it.

I swam for, Irene knows how long, before finally grabbing it.

Every Action has its equal opposite reaction though.

After I grabbed it I soon felt my consciousness float away from me as the world went black.
