At the end of this chapter I will explain why it takes me so long to update and why I haven't just discontinued the story..Y/N P. O. V
This is so difficult.. I have to watch what I say or else I will alter history, and that never ends well in the movies or shows..
After our awkward conversation the guys informed me they would all be leaving here in a few weeks.
Of course! How cliche.. I suppose we'll just have to see how this goes..
I'm broken out of my mini trance to see a pale hand wave in front of my eyes, "Y/N? You ok? " Alex asked a worried look showing on his face.
"I'm just, worried, is all.. " I mutter, thinking back to history class.
I wonder if there would be a way I could follow them to war... I'd say I could pull a Mulan and disguise myself as a soldier but that's cliche... What about I join as a nurse? I still have a few weeks, maybe I could read some medical books and teach myself some medicinal stuff.
"Worried about what? " Aaron's calm voice broke the small silence that had followed my answer.
"You all leaving.." I reply quickly, glancing over at John.
John was sat at the kitchen table with a small sketchbook, seemingly drawing little doodles of turtles.
I've been with these guys around a week or so, and in that course of time I've learned quite a bit. John seems to really like turtles, Alex loves reading, Aaron being the same way, Lafayette is very fascinated by Americans, and Herc is just an absolute cinnamon roll..
John set down his pencil and looked at me, "Why though? We'll all be fine!"
"You're going to war, " I say standing up from my seat on the couch, "You could die!" I begin to yell as tears start to brim my eyes.
"Y/N..." Herc began but I cut him off before he could finish, wiping the small amount of tears that had formed in my eyes.
"N-No, It's fine.. I'm just going to go on a walk, alright?"
They all give me a small nod as I grab one of their coats they have hanging by the door and one of my books before walking out, slamming the wooden door behind me.
I wrap the random jacket I grabbed around my shoulders as I walk down the cobblestone roads. Throughout the week or so I've been here, I've swapped my normal 2018 clothes out for a corset and a f/c dress. Though I wouldn't normally wear a dress, let alone a corset, I've had to make sacrifices.
Along with figuring out more about the guys and everything else, I've also been reading around and trying to figure out how I got here. Lemme tell you, research is not easy to forget without the internet. Though I did pay attention in History class, they only tell us so much..
I continue my stroll down the path, looking at the many different store fronts and passing by the happy couples, or families also taking nice strolls.
I end up in one of the nearby parks, noticing a lonely bench underneath a beautiful willow tree, a large pond in front of it. The long branches of the willow extend down to the lake, providing a nice shade. Some small vines appear to have grown up the side of the bench, showing that it's been there for a while. The roots of the willow surrounding it, only adding to the beauty.
I walk over to the bench, careful not to trip over a root, and sit. I watch as the light breeze blows through the willow, creating a small ripple on the water. The whole scene felt surreal, this was nothing like the New York I knew. I mean of course, the city had its spots like this, beautiful. Though it was never this calm, never this peaceful.
I open the book I'd brought with me, Common Sense by Thomas Paine.
I feel like I've heard the name of this book before, but I can't quite place my finger on it..I soon become in grossed in my reading and the quit surroundings.
A few hours of reading pass by before a unfamiliar voice interrupts my reading.
"H-Hey Ma'am, Do you mind If I join you, this is one of my favorite places here? "

Alright, so enough with my excuses, I haven't been updating because I've fallen a little bit out of the fandom. I also have another account, RxiningPxstxlColors
Where I'm quite a bit more active. I know I've said this many times, but I swear I really want to continue these stories. I believe my writing has gotten a big better and I do plan to explain the plot of this story a bit better. This story wasn't originally meant to be a Hamilsquad X Reader, the name was sort of a place holder while I determined exactly who I wanted to make the main person. It has crossed my mind to make multiple paths but, I just don't think I'll be able to do it.
So we have an option, I could leave it as it is and just kind of see how it goes
I could make it to were, it's sort of like you just kinda live in this time and have a say in what happens now.
Or, we could take a vote as to who you want the main love interest could be.
If we want to do the last one I really need to know who, and with that being said, it can be any Hamilton character, female or male, introduced or not introduced.
Before I ramble on too much I shall apologize once again and take my leave!
Bye bye!
~Jess
