"What do you mean? It is 1776.."
I looked at them like they were crazy. "What?"
"It's 1776"
I laughed, "Stop joking with me."
"We're not..."
"Ok, it's not funny anymore. Now where's a phone?" I said, starting to get annoyed. "Y/N, did you possibly hit your head when you blacked out?" Alex said, looking at me curiously. "No." I answered coldly. "Alright!" Alex put his gands up in defense. "But mademoiselle, it is 1776.." Lafayette spoke up. He had a very thick french accent.
"Ha! Prove it!"
"Ok?" The French man helped me stand up, but i had to lean on him go keep balance. "Where do you live mademoiselle?" He asked.
"New York City."
"Good." He walked me over to a window and i looked outside. "Where are-"
"New York" He replied before I was able to finish.
It looked nothing like the New York I was used too. (A/N ok cut me some slack idk what the 1700s New York looks like) It had stone walkways and stone paved 'roads' that people were driving carriage on. The people walking up and down the streets were wearing olden time dresses and suits. It was strange.
I turned and looked back at the group, "What? How....no, you guys just live in one of those strange...um..olden time cities...yah thats it." They all shook their heads as I tried to deny the truth. How could this be happening?
I just time traveled back to the 1700s...
