Karamel's Little Comet

Kara had estimated she would have the twins during the eighth month of her pregnancy. She had one week left before she reached the ninth month. Kara and Mon El had all the baby stuff set up in her loft. She had set up each crib on either side of the bed along with the things the babies would need. Kara and Mon El were at Kara's loft getting ready to meet Alex at the DEO for one last ultrasound. Kara was sitting at her counter waiting for Alex to call her to say she was ready.
Mon El was pacing. "Are you sure you're not ready?"
"I'm sure Mon El. I'm not ready." Kara responded holding back at laugh at how worried Mon El looked.
"You don't feel sick?"
"No."
"No pain?"
"No Mon El."
"Ok well,....."
"Mon El. I'm okay. I promise. Stop worrying. Alex will call any second then we can go and check on Mike and...." Kara stoped realizing they didn't give their daughter a name. "We didn't pick out a name for our daughter yet. Any ideas? Because I did name Mike."
"Actually, I was thinking of one name."
"Oh yeah? What is it?"
"I was thinking of the name 'Catherine'
Kara smiled. The thought of Mon El wanting to name their daughter Catherine made Kara love him even more than she already had.
"Cat?" Kara asked.
"Well I figured we should give Cat Grant some credit. 'Cause she did name you 'Supergirl', she gave both Supergirl and Kara Danvers advice that they both use to change the world. She was the mentor of my mentor."
"It's perfect." Kara smiled.
Mon El returned the smile. Just then the phone rang and Kara answered it.
"Hello?" She asked.
"Kara, you and Mon El can come down now." Alex said.
"Okay. We're on our way." Kara responded. "Alex is ready. Let's go."

DEO

Alex met Kara and Mon El at the door and led them to the ultrasound room. Kara quickly changed into a hospital gown. With the help of Mon El, Kara got up onto the bed. Kara was showing but to a human, it only looked like she was five months pregnant. Kara uncovered her stomach and Alex covered it in gel and started moving the wand around. The picture appeared on the screen again. Mon El was so excited that right away he started to show Kara which one was Mike and which one was Cat.
"Oh my god. Who guys chose the name Cat?" Alex asked happily.
"Well, Mon El chose the name. But yeah. Cathrine, Cat for short."
"The names are perfect." Alex said as she kissed kara on the forehead.
Their special moment was cut short when the DEO alarms went off. Kara immediately got out of the bed and ran down to the main floor forgetting about her pregnancy. Mon El and Alex tried to stop her but she pushed right passed them. Kara spotted a DEO agent on the ground, still alive.
"J'onn!" Kara yelled. She ran to him and knelt down next to him. "J'onn. What happened?"
J'onn was about to pass out, but he was able to say one word before he passed out. "Reign...." he mumbled.
Kara for the first time in a while felt scared. She had only seen Reign in her dreams. She didn't know she was real or that she was on Earth. Just then, a black blur flew in the DEO and put Kara into a choke hold.
"I told you to join me! This isn't where you belong. I told you! I am you'r sister! You have to stay with me!" Reign yelled loud enough for everyone in the DEO to hear.
"What are you talking about?" Alex asked.
"Oh. Your sister, didn't tell you?" Reign laughed. "Kara is a Worldkiller. Created to protect Krypton by slaughtering anyone who wants war. But because Krypton was destroyed, our true calling has called. We are the destroyers of worlds. And this world is next."
Kara was trying to get out of her choke hold, but Reign seemed to be stronger than her. Mon El saw Kara was trying to get out and that she was in pain. He gave Alex a head nod and slowly backed away into the shadows and Reign didn't notice.
"You're wrong. Kara is the most kind, gentle, generous, strong, intelligent person I know." Alex corrected. "That we all know." Everyone's heads at the DEO all nodes slowly agreeing with what Alex said. "Kara is not a Worldkiller."
"That's where you're wrong." Reign said pulling harder on Kara's throat.
"Alex....." Kara struggled to get out.
Behind Kara, she heard a scream of pain come from Reign. Reign released Kara and she fell to the ground coughing catching her breath. She turned around to see there was a syringe of Kryptonite in Reign's arm with Mon El on the ground standing back up. Reign pulled it out and threw it on the ground hand held her arm with her other hand.
"I'll be back for you sister. I'll be back." Reign said before she flew out the DEO window.
Kara was still on the ground. He neck was red and a pale purple. She was breathing very heavily. Mon El went to her to help her up but she pulled him down to the ground and into a hug. Kara started crying.
"Hey, Kara." Mon El said pulling away to look at Kara. "Why are you crying?"
"They won't be safe."
"Who? Mike and Cat? Kara, they wouldn't be safer with anyone else but you and me."
Kara turned her head not looking at Mon El.
Mon El turned Kara's head so she had no choice but look at him.
"Kara, you are not a Worldkiller. Trust me. You are the only person in the world who has my heart. You die I die. We'll stop Reign. I promise."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because I know you. You don't stop fighting anyone or anything until the people you love are safe. That's how I'm sure."
"Mon El." Alex said.
"Yeah?" He answered.
"Your, friends, woke up."
"Ok. I'll be there in a sec."
"Yeah well, that Imra girl is not waiting."
"Who's Imra?" Kara asked Mon El.
