Karamel's Little Comet

"Kara do you want me to stay over tonight so you're not alone?" Alex asked helping Kara off of the bed.
"No that's okay. I'm sure I'll be fine tonight. You go catch up with Maggie." Kara said hugging Alex.
"Okay." She said kissing Kara on the cheek. Then she ran down the hall and linked arms with Maggie and they both walked towards the door.
"Are you sure you'll be fine tonight?" Mon El asked keeping Kara steady.
"Probably." Kara said. She let go of Mon Els arm and tried to walk to the door with out help. When she got there, she opened the door and started walking down the hallway. Mon El noticed that Kara was shivering, and her lips were turning purple. Mon El stopped her and he put his hand on her forehead. It was hot and sweaty.
"Kara, you have a fever."
"No. Kryptonian's can't get fevers. I've been here for thirteen years. I would know if I had a fever Mon El."
Kara lost her balance and leaned into Mon El and he caught her and held her.
"Have you ever been a pregnant Kryptonian on Earth with twins before?" He asked smiling.
Kara knew he was right and didn't want him to be just because he was so certain. "No."
"That's what I thought." He said letting out a small laugh. "I'm going to go get Alex." He said putting Kara's hand on the railing for she wouldn't fall. He started walking towards where he last saw Alex.
"No Mon El." Kara said trying to catch up.
"What? What's wrong?"
"Can you stay with me instead...please?" She said sniffing.
He put his arms around Kara and kissed her forehead. "I'd love to."

Kara's Loft 

Kara went straight to her bedroom and got into her pyjamas while Mon El made up his bed on the couch. Kara came out and sat on the couch he was making up.
"Hey, Kara. I'm making that."
"What? This? I couldn't tell." She said laughing."You know Daxamites can't catch fevers from Kryptonians right?"
"Yeah I know."
"So you don't really have to sleep on the couch. Did you know that?" She said smiling.
Mon El smiled and sat down on the couch. "Well, someone's fever is gone."
Mon El leaned in slowly to Kara wanting to kiss her. But he didn't know if she wanted to kiss him so he stopped so he was close enough to feel her breath on his face. Kara chuckled a little at the fact that he stopped leaning in. She leaned in fast and kissed him hard. She wrapped her arms around him and ran her fingers through his hair. He wrapped his arms around Kara's back and pulling her against him. She moved her legs over his so she was sitting on him. Mon El kissed Kara harder than she had kissed him. Kara slowly pushed him back. Once he was lying down and she was on top of him, he slowly and lightly moved his hands from her back to her lower sides. She smiled against his kisses. He pulled Kara  down on top of him. Then he came to and immediate stop. He held onto Kara and sat up.
"What's wrong?" Kara asked wondering if it was something she did.
He had shock in his eyes.
"Mon El?"
He looked down and lifted Kara's shirt so he could see her stomach.
"You're showing! You're starting to show right there!" He said pointing to her lower stomach.
"I am?" Kara lifted her shirt up more. "Oh my god, I am!"
Mon el kissed Kara still smiling.
"That means it's coming soon right?! Two months or one month?" Mon El asked confused.
"Well, Kryptonians only show during the last two months of pregnancy. But..."
"But what? It that a good but or a bad but?"
"Every single woman in our family has given birth one month before the baby is supposed to. So chances are," Kara smiled and moved right up against Mon El. "You and I, will be parents this month."
Mon El smiled and kissed Kara. He moved his kisses down her neck so Kara's mouth was right next to his ear.
She whispered, "Its too bad that I'm showing, because we could crush the babies. But if I wasn't." Kara paused
Mon El got all warm listening to her.
"We wouldn't have had to stop."
Mon El looked up at Kara and smiled. Then she gave him a warm kiss.
"Oh my god." Kara said
"What? Whats wrong?"
"One month is soon. We don't have anything. No crib, no diapers, no clothes, toys, nothing." Kara said getting up and heading to the door.
"Hey...What? Where are you going?" Mon El asked also standing up.
"We're not ready! We don't have anything. We need to go to the store and get things for the twins. Oh my god. Twins! We need double the stuff. Let's go Mon El! Hurry!" Kara quickly ran out the door.
"Kara wait up." Mon El quickly chased her out the door. "You know you don't have to do this tonight."
"I know but it'll be fun. Trust me. I'm very good at spending an exceptional amount of money on something. Including this." She kissed him once more and ran off down the hall.
"I respectfully disagree." He ran off and followed Kara.
