Sabastian, the sexy doctor. I think he would look a lot like the picture above.
Present Day
Every noise I hear pounds out a rhythm, creating an enormous symphony inside my head. All the instruments are off key, torturing me with every squawk a bird makes, every horn that honks outside my window and that damned alarm clock on my phone, that keeps buzzing repeatedly, making me lift my head from under the blankets long enough to swipe at my phone, turning it off.
I force my dry eyes open, the sunlight pierces them like daggers, making me slam them shut yet again. Yup it's safe to say, I'm hungover, I groan and pull the blankets over my head again.
"Trina," Sabastian knocks and opens the door. I moan in complete and utter pain from the tremendous headache that pounds a beat inside my head sounding like conga drums. Sabbatian sits on the side of my bed pulling the blankets down. "Here drink this, it's the doctors cure for hangovers," he says and shoves a fowl smelling concoction under my nose, making my stomach revolt at the scent. I push it away but he's persistent, so I grab the glass and tip it to my lips, I take one sip and try to move it away from my mouth when he put his hand under the bottom of the glass gently lifting it up, forcing me to finish the entire glass of sludge.
"Yuck! What in the hell was that nasty ass shit?"
"A bunch of vegetables, some fruit juices, a couple crushed up Tylenol and a multivitamin. He takes the glass from me and hands me a bottle of water, "Here wash it down."
I do as I'm told, forcing myself to take a long drink before lowering the bottle. "Thanks," I say as I lay back down.
"Oh, no, Del left a message on your parents answering machine. She said she'd be here in a half hour, you've got to get up and I've got to go before this entire town thinks we're sleeping together," He chuckles and raises his eyebrow at me.
"As nice as the offer sounds, I better pass for now," I giggle and shove him playfully before sitting up beside him on the bed.
He leans over, bumping me with his shoulder, "Wanna talk about the confession you made last night?"
I stand up and grabbed some of my clothes off the floor, "Wow would you look at this mess. I have got to find something to wear."
Sabastian grabs my arm, pulling me into his lap holding me there, "Trina," he whispers my name.
"Bash just drop it, please. It was a long time ago and I'd just as soon forget about it."
He released his hold on me, letting me go back to grabbing my clothes off the floor. When the doorbell rings, Bash was still sitting on my bed and I was far from ready.
"Oh shit, now the entire town is going to be gossiping about us spending the night together," I whine.
I moved my car last night, parked it down the road, so it would look like I went fishing. I'll sneak out after you leave. Text her and tell her you'll be out in a moment."
I grab my phone sending Del a quick text, before running into my bathroom to change, leaving the door open just a hair so I can talk to Bash. "Why'd you come back last night. I would have been fine?"
"I couldn't take that chance, if something would have happened to you after I left I wouldn't be able to live with myself, that and I would lose my medical license as well as the bar. It was just best if I slept on the sofa, so I could babysit you," he explains.
I open the door, "so you did get your medical degree, good for you."
"Yup, I'm the local doctor and I own the bar, keeps me pretty busy."
