A/n: I swear, 抖阴社区 hates me so much that it deleted half the story for my next chapter. So I was so mad I was like, screw it, I'm making a short story since I'm slacking off on updating.

Evan breathed a sigh as he looked around the killer camp. Everyone remained silent, even Anna, who stopped humming her lullaby.

The only sound that could be heard was the whispering of the Entity, it's lulling sounds telling them dark secrets.

Evan almost jumped when Freddy appeared next to him with a whoosh. The small man glared at the ground with his arms crossed.

"How was the match?" Evan asked in a low voice.

Freddy shut his eyes and leaned against the tree, his fedora hid his eyes. He sighed. "Goddamn Claudette..."

Evan took his big hand and rubbed Freddy's shoulder to comfort him. He understood Freddy's frustration. The survivors were getting wiser and stronger, making it harder to kill them. Not counting the fact Freddy is weaker than all of them.

Freddy told him a soft 'thank you' and shrugged Evan's hand away.

Evan understood and glanced back at the others. Michael was staring beyond the trees, staying silent as usual. Sally was talking with Lisa and Philip about their past life in low voices. Billy was repairing his chainsaw with Bubba, Herman was taking two fingers and watching the electricity connect, and Amanda was testing her hidden blade, making sure it successfully revealed itself. Anna sharpened her hatchets in silence and Jennifer  (the Clown) poured liquid into his green bottles.

Evan hated the silent and sad environment. He wanted to cheer them up in some way. He could hunt down prey and make dinner but he thought it wouldn't be so special.

"Maybe I'm foolish, maybe I'm blind, thinking I can see through this and see what's behind." His deep voice wavered as everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Evan.

Evan hung his head low, thinking they were all judging him.

"Got no way to prove it, so maybe I'm lying." Philip smiled as Evan glanced at him with wide eyes.

Herman giggled and removed his contraption. His lips finally rested before forming into a smirk. "But I'm only human after all. I'm only human after all, don't put the blame on me. Don't put your blame on me."

"Take a look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see it clearer or are you deceived in what you believe?" Lisa's slur made it harder to understand as she sang her part.

"Cause I'm only human after all. You're only human after all. Don't put the blame on me. Don't put your blame on me." Evan sang back, smiling under his mask as everyone smiled back.

"Some people got the real problem. Some people out of luck. Some people think I can solve them, Lord heavens above." Sally leaned her head back and sang her lovely tune.

Herman sat up straight. "I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all, don't put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me."

They stopped for a bit and looked at Billy, who blushed in embarrassment. "I... I don't sing..."

"Oh please, you know you want to." Sally scoffed.

After a small sigh, he sang in the smallest voice ever. "Don't ask my opinion. Don't ask me to lie, and beg for forgiveness for making you cry. For making you cry..."

"Cause I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all. Don't put your blame on me. Don't put the blame on me." Jennifer sang.

Evan was so focused on the song that he didn't notice Anna crying.

"Ooh some people got the real problem. Some people out of luck. Some people think I can solve them. Lord heavens above." Anna's voice sent shivers down Evan's spine. Who knew her voice was so beautiful?

"I'm only human after all. I'm only human after all, don't put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me." Freddy chimed in, his fedora revealed his green eyes that sparkled in joy. He was clearly having fun with the song.

"I'm only human, I make mistakes. I'm only human, that's all I takes to put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me." They all sang in chorus, all except for Michael, who tilted his head in confusion.

"Cause I'm not prophet or messiah." Michael's deep voice sang and everyone remained silent, shocked that the mute killer finally spoke.
"Should go looking somewhere higher."

After a few seconds, Freddy and Jennifer continued whilst everyome stared at Michael. "I'm only human after all. I'm only human after all.  Don't put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me. I'm only human, I do what I can, I'm just a man, do what I can. Don't put the blame on me. Don't put your blame on me."

Silence hovered over them again, making Evan shift in his seat again. The silence was broken as Herman giggled and patted Michael on the back, who growled but accepted the pat.

"I can tell you don't like singing, huh?" Herman teased and everyone laughed.

Michael stood silent before his shoulders shook and a small chuckle escaped under his mask.

Jennifer chuckled. "Is it just me, or did that song give me a little hope?"

"No you aren't the only one. it felt like a spark of light inside me. For once... I felt happiness. Something I haven't felt in a long time." Amanda said softly.

"Thanks, Evan." Sally turned to him.

Evan smiled. "Another?"

"Gladly." Philip chuckled.

Eyyy that was kinda fun to write! I think I might do another one after I get all the requests done. It may take a while since school started 2 weeks ago and I'm already getting homework. Pls be patient with me because I'm trying to do as much as I can. 抖阴社区 is mean and keeps deleting my stuff.
