Your eyes opened and the smell of rotting meat made them watery. You woke up in The Game, your least favorite map since the area was so spaced out and pallets were a little hard to find.
With a sigh, you went off to look for a generator. Once you found one, you worked in silence, your hangover from earlier was still there so the headache slowed you down. You paid no attention to your surroundings, therefore you didn't notice the Ghost Face sneaking behind you.
He went up to your ear and whispered, "Boo."
Startled, you yelped in surprised while he chuckled and put a hand over your mouth. "You need to pay attention next time," He cooed and you glared at him, breaking him out of his power, his heartbeat coming back. He removed his hand from your mouth and wrapped his arms around your waist.
"It's the hangover," You groaned and rubbed your head. "I can't help it."
"It's all good, dear. I'll take it easy on you, but first, give me a good chase."
"Wait, what?"
"Five seconds head start, go." He released you and watched you sprint away, counting to five with his fingers.
You rolled your eyes when his heart beat fadded away the further you ran. You slowed down and walked to another gen, this time keeping an eye out for Ghost Face. One gen clicked in the distance, he must have Ruin if the gens are completing that slow. Sure enough, sparks flew when you connected the wires so you left the gen again to find the totem.
Ah, maybe someone else is getting it and someone needs to do a gen. You thought and pursed your lips, wanting to go back to your gen until Alert showed Ghost Face stomping on your generator and heading towards you. Did he know you were there?
"Better run, Y/N." You heard him say around the corner, making you curse and break into a sprint, thankful you reacted quickly because he swung his weapon around the corner and nearly missed you. "Ooh, that was smooth," He chuckled.
You shook your head as you found a pallet and started looping it. You were pretty good at it, but you couldn't decide if he was just giving it to you or if he was really trying.
There was a part of one of the loops that cut off your view of him so you had to guess correctly where he was coming. You stopped, snapping your head around the corner to check, you saw his red stain and then it was gone, along with his heartbeat. Shit. He had gone Night Shroud. Now you really had to guess. You walked to where you last saw him, checking behind you to see if he had snuck up on you. Your breathing became heavy when you checked around a corner. Nothing. Did he leave?
Relaxing a little, you started walking away until a hand grabbed your waist and slammed you into the wall behind you. You gasped in alarm before realizing Ghost Face pulled a sneaky on you.
"Almost got me there, dear," He chuckled under his mask and took his knife to lightly cut your cheek, making you wince in pain. "But you let your guard down again."
You smirked and took this chance, "I wouldn't if you weren't so hot."
Ghost Face flinched at your terrible flirt. "Holy hell that was bad." He said with disgust.
You laughed because you knew it was. "Like you're any better at it," You tease.
"I am," He said in protest before lowering his voice so it sounded like a growl. "But it's better in bed." He added.
"See what I mean?"
"What? That was good!"
You roll your eyes with a smile until two generators clicked in the distance. Ghost Face slumped his shoulders, not wanting to leave you again. He looked back at you and let his hands drift to your neck. "Welp, I got a job to do. Keep that ass of yours out of my sight, yeah?"
